Journey Live In Toyko

I've not seen the DVD yet but my Dad has just called me to say that he has bought it. How long has this been out? Doesnt appear to have been produced by Perry either. I've seen clips of the DVD on youtube a few times, but had no idea that it was actually in shops.

It's from the Escape tour...

Quite excited anyway. Pretty much the same setlist as Houston but there is a few more songs.

Yeah, that's a great pro-shot boot. Songs that are on it but not on the Houston DVD are Lay It Down, When the Love Has Gone, Turn Back Tokyo (Baby's song), Dixie Highway, Lovin' You is Easy, La Do Da, and The Party's Over. I have the video and audio on my computer. :)

That's not an official release, just a nice looking grey market product. Journey isn't getting a penny from that release. Grab that shit off of Dime or Jamtothis or really, any other torrent site.

Don't buy this shit, and give your hard earned money to the coackroaches that flog it. It's available for free all over the freakin net if people bothered to look.

It's an early ESCAPE tour show with Jon. They always seem to do a few concert dates in Japan before starting a full-blown US tour. There's a Frontiers early '83 one called Night at Budokan. Another Japan boot is one of the last shows with Gregg Rolie in the Departure tour. All the Japan boots are good quality. Somebody in that business there must be packaging and releasing these concerts, even though they are not official band-sanctioned.

Well ... JSSRocks, or "the other Ed" (as I like to call you) ... since you have always refrained from cussing me out, I will hook you up with a copy (I have to get my son to do the work, though, as I don't have a dvd burner on my computer). PM me your address.

Is this region specific? I'd love to get a copy of these, but would have to order and then find out that it doesn't play on U.S. region players.

Eric, I just found this out a little while ago........but for most dvd players you can get a code to unlock/change the region code. I want to get a new EM dvd (Japan only) but it is region 2 (Japan, UK, etc.) and US/Canada are region 1. Somebody told me to google the code for my model of dvd player. I guess almost every dvd player is all region and is set to whatever region it is sold in. But you can change it to Region 0 which is all regions. If you google your model # of dvd player there is probably an "unlock region code" for it. When tray is in out position, just had to enter in a 5 or 6 number code on my remote and "region 0" comes up in the bottom left hand corner of the screen briefly. So it should work. :D
