That's why you need to quit fuckin around over at those other sites and just hang out here. ;)

Naah... it's just a bunch of musicians whining about shit. I just go there to chop the occasional Eddie pic.

I'd say it's running about 60/40 right now.

One person's joke is another person's slander. I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder.

Well I missed it before it was locked but I am a huge Perry loon and I thought it was cute. I did not think anyone was being mean but then again it's like someone else said everyone has different perceptions and some just did not appreciate it. I guess I can understand. I would have chimed in if I would have been around but I certainly would have never meant any ill will to my hero
Come back Steve Perry!!

I thought it was disrespectful and unnecessary, and I appreciate Andrew locking it and monitoring this forum
more diligently these days. It was Perry bashing which I know some people delight in, but I don't think Perry
deserves such disrespect after he has given so much of himself to us. :(

Oh come on lighten up! We all love Perry. Do you think he actually sits around and reads this crap.

You mean these?

12 Steps of Loons Anonymous

1. We admitted we were powerless over Perry- that our lives had become unmanageable.

2. Came to believe that only Perry coming out of retirement could restore us to sanity.

3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of Perry as we understood Him.

4. Made a searching and fearless musical inventory of the other lead singers of Journey.

5. Admitted to God, to ourselves and to the MR forum the exact nature of Neal’s wrongs.

6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of Neal’s character.

7. Humbly asked God to remove Perry’s vocal problems.

8. Made a list of all persons who had harmed Perry, and became willing to bad mouth them all.

9. Made direct contact with Perry and photograph him wherever possible, except when to do so would injure ourselves or get us arrested for stalking.

10. Continued to take Neal’s inventory and when we were wrong say gross, nasty and disrespectful things about our fellow MR forum members who disagree with us.

11. Sought through prayer and meditation and Mocha Buss Pass Lady videos to improve our conscious contact with Perry as we understood Him, praying only for the opportunity to meet him and the power to convince him to record new music again.

12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps and listening to TBF & FTLOSM daily, we tried to carry this message to Journey fans everywhere and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
