The Fall of am empire. Take a seat Detroit, your time has passed. The Berlin Wall has collapsed. Hossa,(No-SSa) how's that shit in your mouth taste? Creamy? Solid? Tasty? I hope you twirl it all through your teeth.. loser. Never deny Pittsburgh...EVER.

Like I said, the first team to win a road game wins the Stanley Cup. I had 0 nerves during this game but I suppose alcohol helped me out in that department. Watched it at a bar, which was crazy.. right up my aisle. Detroit didn't have a chance, got dominated all game and we pissed all over them like some kind of fetish. Watching Syd raise that Stanley Cup (just like my Avatar) was a sensational moment for all of Pittsburgh. 2 youngest players in both leauges winning Championships. Ben and Syd as a Captain. HOW SWEET IT IS.

CITY

OF

CHAMPIONS

Congrats to RW fans, you showed you were a worthy Champion and you shouldn't be ashamed in losing to a young, fresh, talented team like Pittsburgh. I hope you enjoyed your time because it's all over. Sucks RWF you couldn't update that avatar  If you take a left down that little brick road, and head East, maybe you'll end back up in Kansas. (Love that line, had to take that from you.. was too good earlier in the series.)

NOW BOW DOWN AND KISS CROSBY'S TOES AS YOU MUST

Lord Stanley is in a safe place.

BTW: RWF, if you need to soak up the tears, I got my glorified Terrible Towel soaker somewhere round here that contains of Viking, Cowboy, Ram, Seahawk, Cardinal, Star, and Blackhawk tears. Would be a pleasure to add some Red Wing tears if need be. Let me know. (Seriously though, that was the best series I've ever seen. Your team did a great job. Should be proud nonetheless.)

Congratulations Pittsburgh Penguins and their fans!
That game was wild indeed, wish it had ended with the Wings
wining but it was a great series from start to finish.
Enjoy Stanley, see ya next season.

Sutter should put himself back behind the bench (or his brother). Or - what's Lanny McDonald doing these days? :)

Yep, but looked better in Flames Red than blue. Didn't see his jersey retirement earlier in the year, here's part 2, what a class act. Brought a tear when he was talking about unsung heros like the little 7 year old girl in Calgary who has since passed. LOL and you can just see his sons inching forward waiting to shake hands with Sidney Crosby at the end there. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GlIvpjQpHW4&NR=1
