Wow, Tom, I really like that. Now, I love harmonies like that, a little darker, not all the boppy stuff I've heard. I'll have to research their later years when their music was evolving. Thanks.

I absolutely love that song. I'm going to have to really check out some of their music.

You know Tears for Fears Roland Orzabal wrote a song Brian Wilson Said. It was kind of a take-off on the Beach Boy sound in the beginning and then went into an interlude instrumental and then something different at the end. It's really cool. He said he wrote the song in honor of him b/c very few acts in rock and pop are originators, except like maybe the Beatles, etc.. He wasn't even particularly a fan of the Beach Boys but respected them as one of the few that originated a new sound and music, so wrote the song.

Lou Reed- Horrible voice, boring songs. Sounds like a drunk David Bowie. I guess he's like marmite, you either love him or hate him.
Eric Clapton- Boring. And he's even more boring live too. Jeff Beck is more fun to watch.
Van Halen- Horribly over-rated. I was all excited when I bought their first album, thinking it would be a masterpiece, I had heard great things about Eddie Van Halen and David Lee Roth. I don't think I have ever been more disappointed.

I wouldn't know, I gave up all hope with buying Van Halen albums after that experiance. I think I'll go check his work with band out anyway, sounds interesting.

Sorry, I am a big Beatles fan............together or solo

The Doors.......lounge act singing in a lot of his work.............a few songs are O.K.
The Rolling Stones..............Or the Aging Bones...........don't get the overwhelming worship of this band
