If you're going to quote Senor Tito, get it right at least.

Hugs to Deen; very scary Schutt to be hospitalized while overseas. Wonder if its the chronic dehydration stuff he's struggled with in the past; that can mess up heart rhythms.

If he had to get sick anywhere, Germany was a damn fine place to do it; their medical system is fucking fantastic. Puts the US, UK and even Australia to shame, I have to say.
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

'Just received info that the doctors want to keep Deen over night again. He's having some other issues.... but we have decided that we are going to sound check with Steve Toomie his drum tec. and put together a show for Hamburg tonight....
I am now told deen is to be back tomorrow.....
This is the last thing I've heard.

I saw a you tube video this past week, the camera zoomed in on Deen for a few seconds and I got the feeling that there's something odd the way we was playing..... and the look on his face....there's something different, I thought. :(

I am still trying to find that video.

Hoping for the best.

If he is having issues they need to let him rest....it is so much better to be safe than sorry...it's not worth it for him to play and then end up worse.

Huh? His drum tech is going to sit in for him and play the whole gig?

I wonder what the issues are that Deen is having? Yesterday he was fine, according to Neal. I hope he didn't party with groupies on the road and........slip and slide :(

Yep seems so. Probably just found a few other things and just better to keep him in. I cant see this really coming to anything though.

They just need someone good enough to play to the click track and layer on some more BGV tapes, they'll be fine. Arnel won't die if he has to sing a few more songs. They've already stepped down and spread out the dates of the shows. All will be fine.

Why didn't his drum tech play last night? Possibly because he's not used to playing to the click track and needed to rehearse with the band a little?

Are you for real????? Do you really think he's sitting around with his thumb up his ass, waiting to be called back? The man is booked through March 2010.

Saw his drum tech play in Fall of '06 with JSS...and saw Mugs Cain play back in '99.

Yep, I remember Deen's drum tech sitting in for Journey's set in Denver when the altitude got to Deen and he couldn't perform the show. Hopefully all will turn out well with Deen and he'll be ready to go for the U.S. Tour. Get well soon.
