I'm just saying before things continue on and get out of hand and blow up again. By all means people should have fun on this board but keep in mind that it's not their personal playground. Don't waste the playground owners bandwidth with nonsense with nothing pertinent to discuss in any way other then a couple of your playmates commenting in return. I have a sunburn too...for real... but I'm sure not going to start a thread to say so, for crying out loud...heck, no one gives a darn about my sunburn but me and it will fade in a few days time. It's not news...not worth discussing and this isn't Twitter, Myspace or Facebook where it's all about me. IF anyone would happen to care to hear about my sunburn here, though.....just send me a pm and I'll keep ya updated that way. Hopefully with frequent use of a good moisturizer the inevitable peeling will be minimal.![]()
Well shucks if you were gonna waste some too I was hoping for some commiserating on my sunburn suffrage.Arianddu wrote:Blueskies wrote:Arianddu wrote:I was going to suggest renaming it "Tim's Twitters" and suggest he keep it all in the one thread. Works for me

Just try and make sure there is a genuine topic at hand to discuss. Not making light of your sunburn of course

I know, and I should start using it. I rarely burn because of my upbringing in south Florida. I was outside all the time, figured my skin was used to the sun after all these years.

No no no! You should always wear sunscreen! Doesn't matter how 'resistant' to sun you think you may be, skin cancer doesn't care where you grew up.
Pleeeeease use an SPF!

Nope, and even people who don't normally burn and just tan are susceptible too. My Italian Uncle who was not fair skinned at all, has had some removed in the past. And he doesnt' even live in the south.

This is all good advice. I need to start being a little smarter out there. So maybe this "foolish" topic ends up helping someone?
