Cheers, Jason. We have threads loaded with babel fish translations of Euro reviews, we have the same three songs, AWYWI, SW, and DSB youtubed to death in every thread. We are not allowed to make fun of the band unless it includes pink ponies and rainbows. However when no one is cutting on the band, then the place has "lost its edge". The same people complaining about the Perry loons derailing threads then turn around and complain because everything is too peachy keen around here and this place has become irrelevant and we're now making nonsensical threads.

There are two Arnel sites, a Journey music site, and a Journey UK site, all dedicated to good wholesome conversation about the best band on the planet.

If this place has lost its relevance, why waste time here? So many other options seem readily available, what need is being served coming to a place that is so negative and so irrelevant and full of haters?

I get a kick out of seeing lurkers join in which only happens when major things happen. Lead singer changes, major cd releases and MJ's passing brought a few in and some old members popped in for a minute.

That's the magic of MR, for fans, ex-fans, on the fencers and just lurkers in general, this is just a damned great site. I wouldn't mind checking out all the others you mentioned but doubt I'd hang out there much.

If I ever get so relevant that I cant have fun with my posts then screw relevancy! I dont want it. That means Ive become a stiff backed, tie wearing wannabe insider. Thats not for me, Id rather have fun. I live for fun. I can go to a funeral with a bunch of weepers and have people smiling and giggling in no time. Relevancy, just another big word that means no fun allowed.
