I had that happen a ton, plus had to split up watching it in three parts. I went on late tonight and after I clicked on the link, this time I exited out of MR. I don't know if it's the time or if it was exiting out of MR also, but it almost went completely beginning to end without any hangups, What a difference watching it uninterrupted. I agree with GI Jim, fantastic. I know we're getting the Manila DVD this year. But I wish they would buy the rights and put this out with their new CD next year as a freebie. I absolutely love the raw energy of this concert and the way it was shot, and the sound was great also.

Jana, this is the most fucking excited I have been about any concert I have seen this year from Journey. Maybe it's not the best they did this year, but for a cyber recipient, it sure the hell was. Pardon my expletives, but I don't know any other way to say that this one got me jacked. :D

I agree. And once you get to view it without all the freezing and such you'll be blown away. Arnel really was amazing, as was the whole band. Loved Deen. I'm sure others might not like all of them, but I was happy with all the songs, no complaints. My favorites were Separate Ways, Change for the Better, Chain Reaction and One More. Faithfully just because. But truly it was the high-energy flow from one song to the other and everyone at their best that makes this so good.

Exactly! Quoting HH, "too pedestrian".
Hey Jon, 1975 called. They want that boring golf shirt back.
JC looked like he just walked out of a PTA mtg at his kids' school.
I thought this was a rock show????

Well, I think he was trying to look hip with those jeans. Uh, no, Jon, not working. And you're so right. What was up with that shirt? He should have worn a great black T-shirt and been done with it, as he has great arms. And he usually looks great, in great shape, but that shirt wasn't doing him any favors.

This is bullshit. Why can I not watch this concert?

Someone had better have recorded it and is now in the process of putting it in Youtube.

...

I'm not sure words can capture how pissed off I am. The shitty internet at my father's forced the video to stop every five seconds, and I was really wanting to hear it all.

Where are your copies, folks?

Edit: For the record, I officially despise the dirty dozen. "Faithfully", "Any Way You Want It", "Don't Stop Believin'." All of them. This is bullshit. They're at a metal concert and, predictably, none of the harder tunes make Youtube.

Thanks, Jana! Deb's right; that's not SA (though he too looks great in a cowboy hat  ). It's Jess Harnell, lead singer for Loud & Clear, and also the voice actor for Ironhide the Autobot in the new Transformers movie that is kicking butt at the box office.

Such a nice guy, too; Crazy Debbie and I got to meet him at Firefest and he did an impromptu rendition of Faithfully just for the two of us. You should check out Loud & Clear; they (along with White Sister) were the best bands at FF last year; Ride Into the Moonlight is my favorite song.

That's a decent video, but typical uploads of the DD and not the rockers.

I know, but basically what we expect to get posted. I'm just glad to find an upload of this coz i didn't get to watch it the time it was available on the site posted first. Still hoping there will be someone else to upload the entire gig recorded from the site.

It's alright. It'll all be out there sometime. Dang, before youtube, it was tough to find live stuff from your favorite bands.

Youtube is broken. I was briefly allowed to hear awesome renditions of "Change for the Better", "Chain Reaction", and "Wildest Dream." Those are the songs that I want to hear; why the fuck are these self-professed metalheads throwing up "Faithfully" and "Lights" and "Don't Stop Believin'"? Hell, I could understand "Separate Ways."

But no. No, no. No one cares about the other great Perry- and Arnel-era songs.
