I'm partial to this Gotthard track....

Steve Lee has ONE of the best voices I've ever heard....

Very Dylanesque tune. I'd be hard pressed to guess that was BA if I wasn't told.

Ok, lemme put up one of my favorite BD tunes

Lee's got both a good speaking and singing voice. That was a great version of "Hush". I usually hate acoustic versions of rock but he nails it.

Excellent linkup there.

Actually it's off this live dvd/cd set I recently got. http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/detailview.html?KEY=SIBP-147

As much as I love that Mr Big have reunited, and there's just sooo many MB songs I want to hear live in person, once I've seen them live at least once, I wouldn't mind if they went off and did solo projects again. Eric truly excells at the soulful, funky, R&B side of his vocals.

That's on Destroy All Monsters, I rarely ever listen to that cd.....not one of my faves. I listen to I'm Goin' Sane quite a bit.

Love this fun one.... There Goes The Neighborhood http://www.last.fm/music/Eric+Martin/_/ ... ?autostart

and this one...... Bigger Man http://www.last.fm/music/Eric+Martin/_/ ... ?autostart

Cool site by the way, thanks. It's got snippets of some songs that are hard to find samples for. Was just looking for a youtube or sample of Bigger Man a few weeks ago.

I haven't listened to anything off the the new one yet. Thanks for posting, I like the song/music, but I'm just not diggin' Jeff's vocals as much as I used to. Almost sounds chipmunky in spots now, especially when he pushes it. :( Used to really like his gritty vocal tone..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPW1xBwm1WI

Doesn't sound as much like Kansas as Survivor to me but either way, what a great song. I've never heard it before and its 22 years old!

So for today anyway, my new favorite song.

All I Wanted - Kansas

It is a good song, the whole cd is good. Bought it the week it came out, many many years ago. One of the few Kansas cds I own, other than hits, or box sets.

Thanks AM, I've missed out on a lot of great music over the years and MR has definitely changed that.

I'm finding stuff I've never heard of that's been around for 20+ years.
