Anybody use to watch this show?

Just been on youtube for the past 30mins looking up old clips. What a fantastically written show that was.

One of my very favorite television shows of all the time. The first one I fell in love with.

(I prefer its spin off, Angel, though.)

Another example of the talents of the great Joss Whedon.
'Nothing was bigger for Journey than 1981’s “Escape” album. “I have to attribute that to Jonathan coming in and joining the writing team,” Steve Perry (Feb 2012).'

Yeah it was my first love also (television show wise). It's right up there with my obsession with Journey.

Have you seen any of Dollhouse? His newest show. Only started watching it today. Very good.

Firefly/Serenity was pretty amazing to.

The show never really got the respect from the public as much as it deserved. There are specific books written now just on the Buffy narrative.

Oh and if you liked the musical, watch Joss Whedons latest online venture, Dr Horrible. Comic gold!

3 Acts, each with 2 parts.

I'm such an avid fan of Whedon's that my loyalty borders on religious fanaticism. I love Dollhouse and Firefly.

I loved Buffy, but I really disliked it after she started going to college.

The original movie (funny but not successful) is getting the reboot. No word whether Joss will be involved.

No, no Joss Whedon. No anybody properly even involved with the television series.

I hope and pray that this new film never gets off the ground. I would hate to see Whedons hard work get tarnished by the greedy Kuzui

No fan wants in, and hopefully non of them will pay money to see it. I certainly wont be giving them any money.

This is only happening because of Twilight.

Fran Rubel Kuzui (along with a few others) completely wrecked the first movie.

Anything Joss does is brilliant. Period. That man has a real gift for writing.

Cried hysterically during the finale when Spike died. My boys were staring at me like I'd gone nuts (well.. .I HAD.. .Spike died fer chrissakes!). Loved the day that wouldn't end with the mummy hand loop and poker with kittens.

I'm netflixing the last season as of the last few weeks... only two more cds left to go, and I'll be bawling again in my living room.

One of my favorite series of all time. I've got all the DVDs and bring them out about once a year and watch them. Well written, incredibly acted, and at times one of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

Sutherland is a dick who changed his own lines. The TV Show has some of the based television writing of the past 15 years. Each to there own I guess.

Joss Whedon went on ad nausem about how Sutherland helped to wreck the film and what
a tremendous douchebag he was to work with.
Count me as one who HATED the film (no offensem Carla! You say potato...) and loved the series. It's some of
the best television writing ever. I, like Gideon, in the end however did prefer ANGEL. That show
had tremendous heart, and some damned fine acting.

And if Whedon isn't involvled in the new film? They won't get my money...

LOL! It's from the Gerswin tune LETS CALL THE WHOLE THING OFF. Basically it's a nice way of saying you have your opinion and I have mine.
Here's an old clip of it...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jdH2ODFY ... L&index=16
Sutherland is a fine actor, but here's an example of Whedon's take on him:\
Joss Whedon: "No, no, he was just a prick. The thing is, people always make fun of Rutger Hauer [for his Buffy role]. Even though he was big and silly and looked kind of goofy in the movie, I have to give him credit, because he was there. He was into it. Whereas Donald was just... He would rewrite all his dialogue, and the director would let him. He can't write - he's not a writer - so the dialogue would not make sense. And he had a very bad attitude. He was incredibly rude to the director, he was rude to everyone around him, he was just a real pain. And to see him destroying my stuff... Some people didn't notice. Some people liked him in the movie. Because he's Donald Sutherland. He's a great actor. He can read the phone book, and I'm interested. But the thing is, he acts well enough that you didn't notice, with his little rewrites, and his little ideas about what his character should do, that he was actually destroying the movie more than Rutger was. So I got out of there. I had to run away."
Ouch!
