"Black or White" is powerful & a very close second in my selection, but if I have to pick just one favorite MJ song I would have to go with "Man In The Mirror." I love his inflection & how passionately he delivers those lyrics. I'm rocking that song right now. I have all the words down (I think) & of course I got the dancing down so I think I'm going to introduce that song into one of my upcoming sets & see how people receive it. I DVR'd the 48 hours special on Michael & I've watched it a couple times already. Such an amazing man.

Has there been anything said regarding the dancers he had cast to tour with him? Have any of them made a statement? I hear there's talk of continuing the tour as a tribute to Michael's legacy & that there's talks in the works to use stand-ins in place Michael. I heard that Usher is on board & Chris Brown, possibly Ne Yo & others I'm sure. Has anyone else heard this rumor? I think it's a great idea, personally. I think Michael would have been emotionally touched & moved to tears to know his dream of performing the "This Is It" tour didn't pass away with him. What a great way to honor the man's legacy.

In other news....You'll never guess what MJ song I heard on the radio today. "Rockin' Robin." OMG ---- that song is from WAY back into the days of "ABC" & "Ben." I completely forgot about "Rockin' Robin."

My Favorite is "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' ".

I LOVE how upbeat it is....and Michael sounds like he's having a blast while recording it.

And also - this was a Song that we learned Choreography to this morning; you NEVER know what you're gonna get when you step into Christina's "Grooveology" Class at The Fitness Edge.  8)

I LOVED EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF IT!!

The class went for 90 mins., instead of the usual hour......hell; I'd stay ALL FREAKIN' DAY if I could.

Hard to say, but it would be between "Thriller" and "Bad". "Thriller" because it was popular in a really important time in my teens. But "Bad" is also very important to me because it was at a time where the memories are unforgettable and the best, thanks to Makoy.

Always liked this one. :( I'll Be There http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q6bARIaMhCM Jeff does a great little snippet of that one on the Talisman dvd too.

I agree most powerful of his solo ones for me would probably be Man In the Mirror or Black or White. But for plain old fun get your boogy on, I love these two...........

I saw a snippet of this video on the E! Entertainment "Michael Jackson" Special....it was so haunting, I did a search to find it.

It was such a different sound for him...especially the "ah AH ahhh ah-ah-ah" after the verses.
Really powerful imagery and lyrics.....I don't remember this Song getting the credit that it deserves, IMO.

Love this song when it kicks in at the 3:40 mark.

Yeah, this celebrity death saddens me more than any I can remember. Even John Lennon.

This is nothing for me compared to when Freddie died. That was huge because Queen were still on top of their game and turning out great music. Still bummed I didn't get to see them live.

This is my pick also. When they played it at his memorial, the part where he's talking really got me. Had this going on my iPod dock radio thing at home on Saturday and my normally hyper Jack Russell Terrier stayed still and let me cradle and love on him while I swayed slowly back and forth with him in my arms. I cried. (Okay, I'm a sap.)

My favorite MJ songs are Will You Be There, Bad, and Black Or White. I love the Black Or White video, when everyone morphs into each other.

I'm watching the video for 'Stranger in Moscow' right now. This is the one I was trying to think of last week. God, this song is amazing. So depressing.

Thankfully, the next vid on this DVD is 'Blood on the Dancefloor'. :)
