E5C4P3 question

Does anyone know how close it is to reach Diamond status by the RIAA ?

I imagine it should be pretty close right now.

Certified 9x platinum in 1994. It might be at Diamond by now since that was 15 years ago.

The greatest hits keeps pulling all the sales. A lot of digital downloads come up as cuts from the greatest hit also. You also have to wait for Sony to get around to actually auditing the numbers. They're more involved with the digital download numbers at the moment.

It takes Sony forever and a day to get around and audit their artists sales. I wouldnt be surprised if Journey's greatest hits sold another million units this year bringing it to 16 million sold in the U.S. Today Journey's biggest seller is their greatest hits, as far as escape going diamond, music stores dont push it as much as they used to. Everywhere I go there are always a ton of copies of the greatest hits album and a few of their studio albums sprinkled in. I wouldnt be surprised though if escape hasnt already gone diamond.
