He's playing in Bandera which is 15 minutes from my house, How lucky could I get? A few other West Texas shows are scheduled for San Angelo, Lubbock, and Odessa. I guess it's not all bad living in the sticks. :)

Wish I could be there, dude. Hey, why don't we get some YES/ASIA tickets for 6/15 in Ft. Worth and the meet and greet packages for $99? That's a steal by today's standards. I'm seriously thinking about taking off that day and making a little trip down there.

Wish I could be there, dude. Hey, why don't we get some YES/ASIA tickets for 7/15 in Ft. Worth and the meet and greet packages for $99? That's a steal by today's standards. I'm seriously thinking about taking off that day and making a little trip down there.

I'm on vacation that week and if I wasn't already going to the Slaughter show...Yes and Asia, I love those guys. Awesome deal! Hope you get to go Rip.

Meet and greet for $99? That's unheard of, especially for well-respected groups like Yes and Asia.

They're both headlining Saturday night of the Moondance Jam next Saturday, so I will be taking it in! Really looking forward to the whole festival, and glad that I'll get the chance to shoot those 2 prog powerhouses!

Looks like I effectively derailed the thread! Allow me to bring it back on track:

saw slaughter 2 weeks ago, sorry to say marks voice is shot, weird he can still kind of hit the high nots , but in the normal parts his voice is shot.

That's a shame -- I saw them about 5-6 years ago and he sounded excellent, but maybe the reverb, delay and other effects on his mic were hiding it.

 Hey, he's still out there giving it his best shot, which is pretty admirable.

True dat, nice guy and still digs what he does. LOL check out Cindi's soundcheck clip......he was havin' fun, just a boogying all over the place. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTa-90F7mpA
Mark sounded good back in October from what I can remember, but then my vocal focus wasn't quite on MS, with JSS and EM on the same stage.
