I think it's the song playing on the radio in the car when the meteor hits the city. That's not an exact answer, but it's the best I could do. It's a shame that song wasn't used better in the film. It's a great, great song and fits the plot of the movie so well.

Oh, God, dude, not only was it a crappy movie, but we all went to the theater to hear our song playing, and it wasn't even in the damn movie! So that sucked. But Liv Tyler's a little hottie, so it's cool.

Side note...that interview is pretty funny. It was done by a collegiate newspaper right before a show on their campus on the 2005 Generations Tour. Not your typical questions, and DC was the perfect guy to handle these questions.

Well, thanks mostly to Aerosmith and Diane Warren, the album made it into 4 million households, so Remember Me is getting some love, somewhere at least.

Oh boy, I'm gonna get my a-- chewed up for this one. The typical Journey groupie is between 35 and 45, absolutely fanatical -- she knows everything about everything, you know, maybe when we met two years back and where we were and what I was wearing. They are rabid. But we love 'em!

Maybe someone else remembers, but wasn't Journey's 'Remember Me' originally supposed to play during the closing credits?
As I recall, the band coming out of their hiatus had a lot riding on this movie.
Instead, they ended up taking a far nosebleed backseat to Aerosmith.
This, combined with the early Napster leak, led some to speculate that Sony was sabotaging the band...that they were really not behind a Perry-free Journey.

Deen is just kidding around. If you ask Styx fans they'll say Styx was better, Journey fans will say Journey was better.
Ain't like either band is playing Madison Square Garden anytime soon.
They both play county fairs aplenty, that's for sure.
This year, the Styx / REO Speedwagon / 38 Special concerts look like a good ticket as far as getting a lot of bang for your buck. Last year, the Journey / Heart / Cheap Trick concerts were the big show. It's all the same.

When it comes to classic bands and how well they tour,you have Bon Jovi and U2. These are guys that can fill stadiums.
Then you have the everyone else on the next tier down (Def Leppard, Journey, Pat Benatar, Foeigner, etc.) These are the bands grabbing touring partners for the bigger shows just to be sure they fill the seats. When they perform alone, expect 2.000 to 5,000 seat arenas. I believe the place Rick is seeing Journey this year holds 2,400. The shows with Night Ranger and Heart will be in the bigger venues.

Taylor Swift, Hannah Montana and Michael Buble are the hot one's selling out 30k arenas everynight without any problems.

Crowds would leave early, and even Cain mentioned they weren't used to going out late.
For whatever reason, they didn't *bring it* nightly.
It was kinda like how during the Def tour, more people ended up talking about the opening act, (the Soto-energized lineup), than the actual headliner.

So they were saying Journey wasn't giving the effort, or was Augeri's voice already starting to deteriorate? I'm thinking he had been with the group for four years already when this tour took place.
