Play captured in its entirety. .. At least first half.

Plugged it in yesterday and had forgottten how much energy they created to start that show. Goosebumps!

Take requests. Have fans bring signs, and actually play off the cuff. Show me, or better yet the world, just how good you are. Play If He Should Break Your Heart, or Still They Ride, or even some covers. If some fan brings a sign and it says play We Won't Get Fooled Again, or even say, Fat Bottom Girls, play it!

It is so easy to play the same set every night.

Some kind of vote on the official site would be good.

Nothing from that Official Site is good. Listen, real concert goers, not the crazed narrow minded Journey 24/7 fatties want to hear something different. Just because the crowd roars it's approval for a song they know, doesn't make it better. I would rather sit or stand there, and see the Band reach down and challenge itself, mistakes made included, on a song that they haven't played live in 5-15 years. That is true talent. Hell, they can play the hits in their sleep. Yeah yeah, clapping and singing along is fun, and sometimes needed to get the crowd pumped, but Send her My Love would be a welcome sight instead of the always perched 8th song, Lights.

Can you bring a small sign or banner into a venue? I thought about it--waving something around--but figured I would get thrown out, lol... I even thought about wearing a tiara with something on it like a song request--silly but I thought about it...

Why not? They wave around those Filipino flags all the time, what's the difference?

Do they do that in American venues? I didn't notice. However, I don't want to get into a cultural discussion here--it's the waving of stuff that I'm curious about.

The Europeans usually have the flags up out of the way, but here in the states we usually don't bring them to shows at all. What is going on at stateside Journey concerts is nationalism being displayed over the success of a third world singer in a world-renowned band, that's all.
Anyway, they have let them bring the flags into the venues and they are potentially more dangerous and annoying than placards so bringing a request sign shouldn't be a problem at all.

Sign requests can be very creative.

Look at this one. I could see Journey fans getting together to do something like this...maybe CAN DO?

Here's Bruce with about a dozen signs. Could you see poor Arnel with this same payload? You wouldn't be able to see the little fucker.
