What a baby. But hey, Kevin, if you want to get up there and sing for exactly 10 seconds so that your fans can spend the next 4 years tearing you apart over it, then by all means, go right ahead.

p.s. - Kevin, make sure when you talk about where you're from, that you say "Oak Lawn" and not Chicago. You're embarrassing us. At least you're a Sox fan though. That pretty much explains your douchebaggery anyway.

Yep. KC wasn't or isn't pissed at Perry. He is pissed that a Chicago boy wasn't able to sing for his own "team." REO and Styx are absolutely huge in Chicago-St Louis "Ann Rutledge" corridor. They're Arched Allies Live CD is as good as it gets. Like Cronin or not, his talking is entertaining, and he is a helluva showoman, err, guy.

What KC should be most embarrassed of is opening for a Steve augeri led journey back in 2003. Cronin is so much better than Augeri and add to the fact that Augeri and Journey, pulled some um, well, tapeatrics(horse shit), and well, that should have Cronin fuming, or red faced, not losing out to Steve Perry.

No, it wasn't a perfect post. That's a cry baby post. Cronin is crying. Cronin is having a moment with an interviewer. Bluejean is the crybaby. How much you want to bet Cronin and perry get a laugh at this? Cronin is to me anyway, laughing at himself, saying, "why the fuck wasn't i the guy to sing for the home town Sox?"

And what really makes her post stupid is she says being a Sox fan explains his douchebaggery. The Palehose won a World Series in our lifetime. The Cubs? Don't ask.

And I might as well add one more on to complete the trifecta(that's 3 ) Babyblue.

One could conceivably argue that Cronin was a better Front man than Perry. Think about it. No, he couldn't sing as well obviously, but Cronin scores points for longevity, playing guitar, and creating some awesome live moments. I don't think Journey has a live song better to hear or watch live than 157 Riverside Avenue..

They're still pulling tapeatrics. They have to be. Listen to the backing vocals at the shows lately, then ask yourselves if you really believe any of those guys, besides Pineda and Deen can still sing.

Ok, maybe Cain can sing a little, but Ross and Neal? I doubt it.

Wanna talk about great, non-canned backing vox live? Just peep these fuckers, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x70nTCKOfyY

Unbelievably good - Toto, DL, Journey etc. - No reason to be using canned vox, fuckin sing em or don't put em on the record

Cronin shouldn't be bitching about the gig. He should be bitching about the horrendous vocal performance Perry gave that day. Forget the fanism for a second.. Perry pretty much butchered his own song that day. I'd rather listen to a pencil all jammed up in a pencil sharpener where you can't get it out, rather than listen to that performance of DSB again.

Steveo, I don't care about canned BG vocals. Most bands do use BG taped vox. I understand that. However, as far as them actually singing, Neal can't fucking sing. And before you slam Valory for singing, he is better than Friga, IMO. Slam Valory for his shitty bass playing, but he actually has solid BG vocals- however, like you said, they haven't sung live BG in years so I wonder how good he is anymore at even BG singing. Friga is a terrible singer. You all know Augeri lipped but did you know Friga never sang live to that shitty song of his, Every Generation. He lipped that EVERY show. Schon used to bust up every time I told him, "dude, why is Panty boy gonna sing that horrible tune?"

I'll anti-up and say that in addition to it being years old news, the fact that he's whining about Steve Perry, hermit of hermits...a guy that hasn't done anything musical in almost 13 years....makes Cronin the ultimate crybaby bitch.

It's not like Perry's at all active....just how is he a threat?

Shut the fuck up already. You just will say anything about this because it involves Perry. The whole point is Cronin isn't whining. You just want him to whine so you can defend Perry, when there isn't any defending to do.

You were a "crybaby" for insinuating, or rather insisting KC is a crybaby when you should have not even had to post such a starry eyed defense for SP. There is no meat here. It is a light hearted radio discussion, involving geography, identical genre bands, and baseball. You had to turn it into some _________ is a crybaby because he slammed Steve Perry.

As for this being years ago and old news, you are correct. You think KC scheduled a Presser to announce his rage, or do you think he was probably asked this question by some afternoon hack on some dated rock station, wearing a Rolling Stones Soldier Field Sold Out shirt and long stringy dirty wanna be rocker hairdo? All these DJ's are losers. They all wear used worn out 20 concert shirts, talk about bands that are no longer filling up Weinerschnitzel parking lots and put out shitty albums.

Isn't that a specific membership requirement in the Perry Loon Handbook? I could have swore that's where I read it before. Am I missing something?

And why is he still bitter 4 years after the fact?

What a baby. But hey, Kevin, if you want to get up there and sing for exactly 10 seconds so that your fans can spend the next 4 years tearing you apart over it, then by all means, go right ahead.

p.s. - Kevin, make sure when you talk about where you're from, that you say "Oak Lawn" and not Chicago. You're embarrassing us. At least you're a Sox fan though. That pretty much explains your douchebaggery anyway.

That was so perfect

No, it wasn't a perfect post. That's a cry baby post. Cronin is crying. Cronin is having a moment with an interviewer. Bluejean is the crybaby. How much you want to bet Cronin and perry get a laugh at this? Cronin is to me anyway, laughing at himself, saying, "why the fuck wasn't i the guy to sing for the home town Sox?"

And what really makes her post stupid is she says being a Sox fan explains his douchebaggery. The Palehose won a World Series in our lifetime. The Cubs? Don't ask.

Oh go get bent. Where was I the crybaby? I don't care who sang what, I just think KC is a big whiner, considering this was years ago and seriously old news.

This is what i have to say to you. Piss off

Please kindly go fuck yourself.

You can go do the same to yourself.

You know what two people doing that is, right?

Angry self gratification.

I do believe it's a kindler gentler board these days though. I mean, they both told each other to fuck off with such politeness. :o

Isn't that a specific membership requirement in the Perry Loon Handbook? I could have swore that's where I read it before. Am I missing something?

I just checked, and it's definitely a requirement. I found it on page 45 of the Loon Handbook.

BTW - I have a few extra copies of these for $35 each if you don't already have one.

Enough of that shit already.

Time for a change don't you think?

Rock n Roll isn't nice and kind, and if this particular Board is nice, well then something is very wrong with it.

Haven't you heard, Journey is a good, wholesome family band now. Aquafina, Nutrigrain bars and the roar of the crowd is all they need to get high, no topless groupies or foul language needed (unless Neal is talking about Perry in a national publication. Then a statement like "Fuck him" is acceptable).

Not for me to determine. Just thought the exchange was funny.
