Mc Cartney is so funny, and still cute! Love the story about his dad having to wear a mask to get a gig in a place they were fired at before!

That song was good. I forgot about that CD. He did an interview about it and talked about how they recorded a song a day and it was kind of improv, and I remember thinking it really sounded interesting. Here's a review of it. I have to go it. Does anybody have it?

"Electric Arguments is indisputably the most surprising and inspiring CD of the year. Paul McCartney surfaces with a masterpiece of experimental music and great vocals that fuse ambient, hard rock, blues, trance, ballads and electronic music. Producer Youth was integral to this CD. It contains arguably the greatest medley of Paul's songs ever commencing with "Sing The Changes," "Travelling Light," "Highway", " Light From Your Lighthouse," "Sun Is Shining," and "Dance 'Till We're High,". MACCA and Beatles fans will love this trippy and psychedelic CD becuase it has vintage tracks similar to great songs off the White Album, Ram and Paul's other masterful Fireaman CD the cosmic"Rushes" on on which he expertly plays several guitars, cymbals and resplendent keyboards. MACCA'S roaring, soaring and refined vocals and ambient virtuosity at age 66 are priceless."

He's 66. Wow. Doesn't look it.

To my knowledge, no...and I hope not. I would hate to see some no-name slog through their songs first!

Saw Billy Joel close out Shea stadium with 56,000 people there. This place only seats 42,000 by comparison.

Paul is God. The guy can do no wrong to me. Other than Heather Mills.... ugh!
Glad they had a Fireman song on Letterman.
Look on Youtube and there are a few songs they didn't show including Helter Skelter which he absolutely killed on.

Paul usually doesn't have an opening band.

NO. He's NOT Steve F'ing Perry. But he's Arnel F'ing Pineda and I'm okay with that.

Funny, when Paul does this, it's funny. When Ringo does it, he just comes off as cranky.

Saw Paul in Liverpool (in 2002 I think) at an outdoor venue they built just for the concert. One of the highlights of this long-time Beatlemaniac's life. Someone pulled some strings for me and I was able to watch 4 songs from the area in front of the stage, inside the barricade. I sat next to Heather and I was thisclosetoPaul. It was so overwhelming that I thought I was going to vapor lock, but I just cried instead.

CP actually got to meet Sir Paul and shake his hand at one of the shows. <sigh>

I got to hear that story... what a cool experience! I think I'd about faint! But really, he comes off as such a cool guy that I think I'd actually be ok to speak to him. My fear of talking to celebs and appearing nuts has waned a bit thanks to Mr. Augeri, who was so nice and accomodating. I still froze up with Steve Smith though.

Lora I would probably pass out if I met the guy. I have been a Beatles fan since I came out of the womb. Oddly enough a friend of mine ran into him while on vacation. Said he was an awesome guy and came off as totally unpretentious.
