I went for a job interview today..............I was so nervous, and I had 4 people shooting questions at me for an hour and a half! Boy am I glad that is over. It is a Jr/Sr High school Art possition. I need to get this job. I have to drive between an hour and an hour and a half, but jobs are hard to come by because I live close to a college where they are churning out new teachers every year. So this area is saturated with new teachers and not enough jobs.

Please wish me luck guys, I am beginning to get discouraged. I know I can become a great art teacher given half of a chance. But you have to be given that first job. Interviews suck!

I have seen ur work and you will be great, just hang in there. "Never say never" Wait isn't that SP's line? Wish it were true, but there is no way that would happen. Would be great but...sorry got off track there. Keep saying that over and over and have faith. I use to be in the art thing, now I just look at it. I think I am going back to it soon. GOOD LUCK!

To treetopovskaya: You know my name & avatar & you know Stevew2's name & avatar so it would just seem to me that if you are annoyed by what one or both of us write, then you should probably just skip over our comments whenever you see it's one of ours. There are a couple of people on this site (I’m not mentioning any names) whose comments I don't care for, but instead of posting comments to their comments saying their comments are annoying, I simply skip whatever they post.

treetopovskaya, if you were trying to "have my back" by saying that Stevew2's comments are hateful & harrassing towards me, then I thank you for that. However, if you were trying to censor his comments under the guise of "having my back," well, then, that's another story. I don’t understand how anyone can allow someone’s comments to get them SO upset that they feel the need to complain --- unless, of course, that person’s comment is a malicious attack against the person who is voicing their concerns.

Stevew2 & I have talked through PM’s about this very topic. He has asked me if anything he has said has been offensive to me & he has asked me if he has taken things too far. He has assured me that he’s just "messing around" & I truly believe he is. There have been times when I have felt insulted by the posts of OTHERS on this site, but that has been b/c the intent to offend was woven into the delivery of their message. I don’t believe that’s Steve’s intent. Yes, he sometimes beats the “gay thing” into the ground, but I just chalk that up to whatever alcohol he might be drinking at that moment. And if I don’t feel like bantering quite as much as he might like, I move on. No harm done. Nobody got hurt. No need to complain.

In the grand scheme of things, does it really matter?
