Ok, here's one from when MTV was watchable. My favorite would be when ATF would come on which was rare. Seem's like they had Cyndi Lauper and Bowie's "Let's Dance" on hourly rotation.

Oh yeah, that's the stuff right there GB.

So old and dusty it hasn't been heard since bell bottoms and platforms under a disco ball.

Neish one. :D

This was depressing to me when I was a kid but I appreciate it more now that I'm older.

Loved that! Donovan's fan club was the one and only fan club I joined when I was 12!

I was also 12 when this song came out. I'm glad there is someone else on this forum who was actually alive when Donovan was popular.

Since I'm on kind of a folk kick, here are 2 versions of the same song, If I were a Carpenter.

The first (my favorite) is a 1973 version by Bobby Darien recorded 9 months before he died.

Here is another interesting version I found by Robert Plant. Very nice!

Well, I wasn't 12 but I was alive, and remember a lot of this stuff from my 8 older siblings playing their favorite music. This one was always my favorite Donovan song:
