There is absolutely nothing wrong with discussing a new SP album.

I think it's great... but we've been down this road before. Until I get the disc in my hand, there is no new SP album.

Nothing against you whatsoever, but I get so irritated reading people that keep declaring this shit!!! I say give us release dates with some concrete info, or just STFU!!! :x Again... I'm not directing this at you. Just at all of the musicians and studios he's supposedly recorded with. Just teases us, and pisses me OFF!!!  DAMN I want to hear some new Perry. Who's ass do I have to kick to make that happen? :D

Dave Grohl? That would be interesting. Was laughing at the 3rd comment down.........gotta love how some guys pre-requisite their Journey or SP comments with "I know this probably isn't cool to say, but"...........then proceed to rave about Perry as a vocalist.

And totally off topic, but glad I clicked on that link and saw that Our Lady Peace ad at the top. Cool Canadian band, like Raine's voice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQERZzA2uhU
Wondered whatever happened to them and see that they have a new album out today. Thanks SPFan. :)

Wouldn't you know as soon as Madsplash waved the white flag of surrender, the buzz starts anew.

Maybe MBPL has been working a little of her voodoo majik behind the scenes...

Loons get your gris gris, potions & charms ready, light some candles and start chanting & dancing. We got us a CD to record. :D

The UNCUT VERSION of the interview on Monday. Listen carefully to all the parts of the interview that were not in the general public version on Monday.

Right out the SMFP's MOUTH................... :D :D :D :D

Try the link again, and then scroll down on the Jian CBC radio website to Steve Perry Uncut July 20th, click on the little arrow button and it will play for you.
Lots of additional comments by Perry that were not in the Monday interview. Awesome stuff. The things WE were looking for that were cut from Monday's broadcast. I'm very excited. OMG That's what I call RIGHT FROM THE HORSES MOUTH!

We've all known for a very long while now that he's been recording material. That has been a fact for quite some time.
Don't need the proof. Whether anything is released is another matter.

You are correct, but go to the link I posted and give a listen and see what you think about what Perry says about it.

I listened, otherwise I'd not have commented... he didn't say anything that I didn't already know, though, except maybe the part where he said a new record was his "plan". But plans change - I do it myself constantly  - so we'll see, I guess.
