Damn, Separate Ways is smoking. That's a killer opener -- Majestic into Separate Ways. I like Separate Ways best as an opener, although I've seen it mid-set, close the main set, open the encore and close the show as well. I like it in the opening slot the best for the reasons in that video.
Here is Fabbest's video in HD!

Just wanted to mention that Arnel is a total Pro, still not feeling 100% but he did amazing again !!! Deen also sang tonight and also did an amazing job.
All the best to ya,

Sounds like they're going to be spending a lot more time in the air than doing those long bus rides for this goofy schedule this year. That's a pretty big additional expense.![]()

Seriously. It's just amazing. Several of the band members commented on how wonderful it was from their perspective too. Nancy even dedicated These Dreams to the venue. I get to go back and see Jackson Browne there next month; lucky me.![]()
RR in the daylight:
Heart's setup taken from onstage (that's Journey's gear under the plastic at left -- the Faz and Deen's kit)
And, here's Lynn thinking she was going to die on the ski lift at Winter Park (and Mel tormenting her). We were go up the slope to ride the Alpine Slide down.

I bet Arnel was tripping... he probably felt like he was in a dream. That place is awesome - I went there to a show once as a kid. I think it was Sonny & Cher. (That dates me - LOL!)

I've got DVDs of the Moody Blues and Stevie Nicks performing there. What a great place to film a live show.
fightingilliniJRNY wrote:Side note: Red Rocks is where Deen's drum tech had to play the show for him after Deen became sick in the altitude in 2006 on the Def Leppard tour. I don't want to hear about that again tonight.

I just listened to Change for the Better under the same link as Chubby's SW. Un-be-lievable. On Fire. Love that song live, especially at the 3:45 mark on, and great video and sound of it.
