LETS PARTY Epic night in the making

Postby YoungJRNY » Sat Jul 25, 2009 11:14 am

So my buddy is back from the National Guard... the girlfriend is with her friend... and trouble is in the air. Going to get completely sloshed tonight with a little inebriation on the side. Captain Morgan, Miller Light, Gold Slogger, a whole bunch of happy stuff! I want to see everyones partyin' spirits tonight, and come back to reply's on how everyone is having an epic night of their own and gettin their damn groove on. Don't disappoint me.

Lets roll, people!

Sorry, but I'll have to sit the party out. :( I've been drinking WAY too much, and am giving myself an alcohol vacation. Hope you have fun though, and tell your buddy I said thanks for serving his country. I appreciate him.

Yes, maybe I should go home now. I completely forgot what was time it was. I visited our Hollywood office and started bullshitting with people around Michael Jackson's star on the WOF ( the place was packed) and ended getting back to Glendale way behind schedule. 10 more minutes and I'll head home.

Oh... (lol) well, booze doesn't hold much fascination to me. I'm not good at drinking anyway. Plus, it's not great for the ol' waistline there. I'm such a geek, but I go to bars and get ice water.

I think I've got you beat. All of the booze I've consumed in my life wouldn't even fill up one glass. Just hate the flavor and figured why try to acquire a taste.

That's pretty admirable, actually. I went through the tiniest of "party" phases. And I was simply pitiful at trying to keep up with people. Super unhealthy too.
Alcoholism seems to be a family tradition on my Mom's side, and I have an addictive personality anyway, so this probably isn't a bad thing!

Well thank you. I've got no problem hanging around people that drink. It's when they get wasted and start acting stupid is when I tend to bail. I'm not going to sit there and preach to them, I don't feel I have a right. They should be able to do whatever they want just as long as they don't get into a situation of hurting someone or themselves.

Anyway, didn't mean to derail Travis's thread.

It may be just me...but when I plan to go out and get ripped and have a great time...it never materializes.

The best times (and drunks) are the unexpected.

Go out for dinner... have a margarita or two...stop by a bar...band is playing classic rock...next thing you know...PARTY...bar's closing! Go to the favorite pub after work, the jokes and banter gets good, all of a sudden it's 10 p.m.! etc, etc.

Pete, that is an indelible part of the human condition

I might still get drunk when I plan to get ripped and get wild, but you're right, it's not the same as if you plan to just have a few and next thing you know you're feelin a nice buzz.. then you're inspired to bust out the heavy liquor . I guess I'm stayin in this weekend... not feeling the greatest, all these weird weather changes around here are not doin my sinuses/allergies any favors... feel like I'm on another planet!

I've been up for...... I don't even know how long I've been up. Last night didn't let down.. of course. I agree epic night become epic when you don't plan it, and that's what last night was. I got the call at the last second when I made up my mind to stay in a night and rest up. I'm an occasional drinker. Hit it (hard) only about once or twice a year, and HATE alcohol. But I throw down to the point of oblivion when I make my mind up.

Once I got the call my buddy was back I was out the door to play beer pong for 8 hours! Never a let down with my buddies. I deliver papers in the morning for extra pocket cash in the morning 7 days a week. I have around 120 houses on my route. I went over my buddies around 9. Played beer pong until 5 in the morning, went to Eat-N-Park at 7, came home and delivered, so that was an adventure in itself. Came home, slept for about 4 hours, got up and drove to Washington, PA with my other buddy to catch a ball game with him and his girl. I'm beat down to the brittle right now. Got to get up and start the work day all over. Busy, busy as always, my buddy is havin a get together for his bday tomorrow. Always running around.

Congrats, Angel on witnessing life of a baby girl. :D

I took it to gain extra pocket cash, Maui, you little bastard  Plus its honest and under appreciated. I took it thinkin "heh, a paper route, easy money to have for myself for once." Well, it's pretty demanding and people want their fucking paper or else! I have new respect for paper boys, because it can get annoying as hell, esp 7 days a week. Crazy, I know, right?

I just drank a bottle of Moosehead. It was left in my fridge by some friends who came over. Some friends  , Guinness it ain't. This shit has got to be Canada's version of Keystone or Pabts.
Now I need to eat some pussy to get the taste out of my mouth.
