:D Congrats to you and the misses ........how far is she? Everything going well with her?
The house is complete finished or are there allot of things still needed to be done?

Overhere everything is going well 8) oh and also Choco (the golden retriever) is back with me ... he was gone 9 months.
heya Snakey!! She's half way through, all is well. Just had the mid term ultrasound.

The house is mostly finished, just the rear yard to do now...I have had back problems and had to wait for test results before doing anything further....but need to install retic, then get turf in etc...we have a water tank installed which is flushing our toilets, running the washer and supplying drinking water, so that's pretty cool!

What happened to Choco? Why was he gone 9 months, did he run away?

Congrats to Kenny, the misses and to Snakelady, on the impending arrival and on the return of Choco!

All is well here, I've been putting more hours into work, no holiday yet -apart from our visit to a music festival in Germany.

Tomorrow we'll be having a small barbecue, I'm going to try to get the chicken marinade right this time, it missed some saltiness the first time I tried it.

Gee....sorry to hear about the split Snakey....that's awful, but I'm sure everything will work out for you. My back is improving, as I am doing sepcial strengthening exercises at the gym. The problem is with wearing verterbrae causing pressure on a nerve...can't be fixed but can be managed. Age?

Nice to see both you girls back here to say hi!

Don't be sorry  the divorce was nessecary ....I'm glad he is out of my life.
And yes .....everything has worked out fine, I have a new partner and he respects me the way I am 8)

Yes indeed back problems can be managed with exercises to strengthening the musscles. Age  LOL don't know about that I think it can happen to everyone doesn't matter the age :)
Choco is 5 years old and he is strungling with a hernia ......found that out today at the veternary, this weekend he started to walk very bad.
He has got an injection and hopefully it will help him .....but if it doesn't than he will need surgery. But at this moment his condition isn't so good because of the time he was with my ex ......so surgery isn't an option right now.

Thanks for the welcom back ;)

Anyone has concert plans??????? For me far away November it will be Threshold with support act Serenity

Either way, it's nice to see you here again, SnakeLady.

All my concert plans have been blown to pieces these past few years. I had a chance to see Tyketto in January and we got snowed in. In This Moment haven't toured anything north of Connecticut. And I miss all four rounds of Nightwish's US tour. Halestorm played in New Hampshire the same weekend I had to attend a wedding. It's depressing. I miss going to shows.

I have tickets for Albert Lee in September, and probably we'll go and see Delain in September as well.

Is Choco's medicine working? I really hope he doesn't need the surgery. He's in good hands at least, that's for sure.

When Delain announced their US release date for 'April Rain,' they even discussed a possible North American tour in 2010. I hope it happens. They're a band I'm definitely not going to miss.

Will probably go see Queensryche in August and there is a 2 day event called Screamfest over New Years in Sydney with Sonata Arctica, Edguy, Cynic and a few other bands...some decent aussie bands like Black Majesty, Eyefear and Vanishing Point playing on the bill.

I could use a drink. Buttery Nipple, assembled by Bailey's Irish Cream & Arrow Butterscotch Schnapps.

I'm one day away from my 27th birthday, and for nostalgia reasons I've been reading old posts on the melodic rock forums.

(sips drink)

My old posts...I spent a lot of time complaining didn't I? I still do, but not as much. I've mellowed out a bit but I'm still depressed about certain things. (sips) Musically, I've done virtually nothing. My bro's project...the myspace page is still up, but the studio computer's hard drive is dead....for good...we may have even lost the project altogether. I can't help but laugh. Even in-between his 50 hour work weeks at his job he still sputters random ramblings that he'll soon clean the recording studio, revive the computer, and reform Time Will Tell. Yes, there was a lot of bickering and arguing over the band's musical direction, but for some reason I miss it.

Another rant came from my own solo project. I sent songs 2 years ago to my friend in NH. They still sit on his desk, untouched. I myself can barely listen to my old demos. A part of me believes the songs can be written better, yet the ambition to take on such a task has been all but absent.

(finishes drink)

Something had me wondering....What happened to the other 2 dozen regulars that once flooded The Drunken Groper? I'm curious to know if they still lurk around and what they do to stay busy these days?

Bound to be a bottle somewhere, covered in dust and cobwebs....like most of the regulars!

Hey Johnny, I always took what you call complaining as just part of the whole deal, y'know? Maybe you just needed some place to vent and that's cool too. The really cool thing I always found about this board is there were (are?) lots of cool, funny people.

The fact that you can look back nostalgically and see a different you just shows you've grown as a person, and that's very cool. When I was 27 in lots of ways I was a fucking idiot.

But I only see that now.

Hiya all, haven't poked my head in for a while....yes we are now three. Little Indigo Eliza was born on 30.11 at 2.22 pm, weighing 3.19 kg, or 7 pd and a half ounce in the old scale.

We are all well....I have had some time off work to help out with the menial stuff and she has been an absolute joy to us.
