"Should a movie be made about Perry and Journey?"

Would you like to see VH1 do a movie similar to Hysteria - The Def Leppard Story, but with Steve Perry and Journey?

Yes, I would like to see that. Hysteria was a great movie. It's been a long time since I've seen it, wonder if it's on Netflix, I'll have to check it out. (Thanks for the suggestion, even though I know it was not meant to be). 8)

A biopic on Neal and Steve's lives interlacing to make Journey "Journey" would be a great movie. Sort of like "La Bamba" was.

The fact that they met years before in the bay but it took Herbie to get Steve into the band is ironic. The fact that they're not friends after all these years says alot about both of them.

Yeah, and Hugo can play the role of Steve Perry - with Barack Obama playing Neal Schon.

Yeah, and Arnel can play the role of Steve Perry. At least he could sing the parts.

I think Hugo would be a better choice...just sayin

It would be cool, but there are so many bands I believe that are higher on the list of peoples' wishes. Besides that, these guys guys can't do a fucking interview together, there is no way they can film a documentary movie together.

I can think of a few bands who's story is a bit more interesting due to unique endings;

Queen
Bee Gees
Beach Boys
Lynard Skynard

A movie would have to be a ways down the road, since I believe Journey already has a documentary coming out with Arnel which I'm betting gets a bit of critical aclaim.

Although a movie with actors/other musicians playing parts would be a lot of fun. I'm voting for Hugo. How about Springstein plays Neal? :D  :D

Just waiting for the backlash

For mass appeal in the theaters, of those four only Queen could be a hit. Journey's story has more backstabbing twists and turns so there's a lot to work with.

The Herbie character could be a riot if they don't water him down.

Here, despite losing his son to a murdering head lopping off running back, Fred Goldman can start a new career as an average bass player for an 80's pop band.

Neal's actor lead? Call me stupid, but if you can't get Bruce to play Neal, and you can't, this guy is a close second-
