"Separate Ways" used to help promote TRON sequel

Postby Rip Rokken » Tue Jul 28, 2009 10:17 am

Saw this today and thought it was cool:

http://movies.ign.com/articles/100/1007626p1.html

"The Journey song 'Separate Ways' (which also played in the footage screened at the panel) was the first clue that something big was about to happen. And about halfway through the song, something did. As the lights flickered, the song was interrupted by static and then shifted to a new Daft Punk cut from the Tron: Legacy soundtrack."

Time to watch the original again this weekend. I don't think I've ever taken the DVD out since I bought it seven years ago. It's the anniversary edition. One of those packages that looks pretty and then sits next to Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast Special Editions in my DVD case completely forgotten about.

I had (have?) this on umd for the PSP. Still a great movie although I'm not as ardent as one fan.

Talk about your offensive pics. The ladies oughta love this one.
