Yes, that's why these kind of threads do not make sense. 'Favorites', yes. Cause are we talking talent, or style?

Cause in these type threads we always get the usual suspects, or 'popular' names, if you will. just saying.....

My list in the guitar and bass threads are totally by my favorite and more on feel/style then technical ability. Could care less how fast somebody can shred etc. LOL, think that is why I like bass more, guitarists seem to play more with their "face" whereas bassist play more with their whole body. Just like with the PG and RK clips I posted, I like both, and Paul Gilbert is better technically than Richie Kotzen, but I find Richie seems to play with more feel.
