Michael Jackson!! Yes, he is the "King of Pop" and an icon. BUT...why is it that the news media cant find other stories as thier "headlines" anymore??? I, personally am tired of hearing about it! Despite his fame, to put it plain and simple...he wasnt right. He molested little boys, and money got him out of it. Lets face it. He abused drugs...he was an ADDICT, and everyone just CANT BELIEVE HES GONE! He didnt want help and again, his money bought him people that would give him what he wanted...just this time it wasnt kids. Oh wait, yes...money bought him kids, the 3 he did have. He made the choice to abuse drugs, heavy duty shit...and died because of it. I think there are more important topics going on in this world today that should take priority over his death by overdose. I can understand doing an update once a week or so...but talking about it everyday, every channel, is just too much anymore. There are kids all over the US missing or killed, and they are more interested in talking about a rich man that died by IV drugs knowing it could be lethal!!! Having 3 kids, I cant feel sorry that happened to him. He knew what he was doing, but put his addiction over his kids. Its the same shit over and over again with this topic and its gettin REAL old, REAL fast!

Not that I dont have empathy for his kids or his family...but the guy made his choices and knew what could happen. Lets all just move on and let us know if and when the Dr gets arrested! All this about Neverland, where is he gonna be buried, his money, custody, his apperance changes through the years, how he liked to climb fuckin trees, ect....SOOOO WHAT!??!?!?! Lets worry more about our fucked up economy, missing children whos faces should take up the headlines, and other world news!

Sorry, but I had to vent that out. Now I feel better. :D :D

Indeed.

I can empathize that the media coverage is nauseating. But I have no appreciation for the "news". It's all sensational bullshit anymore.

As to everything else in your post...
I'm not going down this road again with someone else. But all I have to say is the same I've said before: Judge not, lest ye be judged... and if you think you know, ask yourself why you think that. Then, if you wish, do a little research on what you've been told by the news or gossip before you go classifying someone you don't know with such bad names.

With all do respect R....
If you read my post, I never called him "bad names". I called him a rich man...which if I recall...he was!! I said he "liked to climb trees"...which he in his own words admitted to on his tv bio. He stated as he walked past that tree on his Neverland Ranch, that "this is the tree I like to climb and look down, yadda yadda". So he did like to climb trees. But personally, I dont give a dam. As for molesting little boys...no, I wasnt there...but I would take the words of a young little boy over him anyday. Dont think kids..yes KIDS....would all say he did some uncalled for things to them if it didnt happen. I have to agree with Katt Williams when he said...."What do normal men do to get some ass and to make a woman comfortable? Maybe some great tasting wine, satin pillows and sheets, ect. What would a man get to make kids comfortable? I dont know...a flippin theme park, petting zoo, some candy??!!!??

Im not bumping heads with you...but Im just saying, enough is enough about his death already. Hes gone, now lets just remember his great music and drive the fuck on!! :D :D

I get what you're saying, not butting heads either. I just get real pissed when the "m" word is thrown out there. I've researched the trial in 2005, the allegations in 1993. I've read the depositions, court documents, testimonies, cross-examinations, and everything I can get my hands on about the Chandlers and Arvizos. And while I'd like to believe a child over a rich dude, I can't. For one thing, Jordy and Gavin were teens at the time. 12 at the youngest maybe. They were older than that when the circus went on. What teen doesn't know how to lie or manipulate for their parent? All the Arvizo kids did it many times before! Just read some of the defense witness' testimonies! And frickin' Jordy Chandler took out a restraining order on his dad a few years back for beating the crap out of him. If you ever want a good read about the subject (which I doubt since you're fed up with him :P ) pick up Aphrodite Jones' book "The Michael Jackson Conspiracy". Fantastic write-up. Will really turn your stomach about our nation's newsmedia too. Mike was a good man, with problems just like anyone, who got bent over by some opportunistic jerks. End of story.

And yep... b/c of the coverage I literally haven't watched a second of news since June 25th. I got my CDs, who gives a shit about the friggin soap opera they've turned this into. 8)

Your right, I wont read it...cuz its over already. I just dont believe ANY person thats INNOCENT of all charges would settle OUT OF COURT for what??? 20 MILLION or something like that?? If your TRULY that "innocent"...why hand over that kind of loot?? I wouldnt! Just dont look to good on his part! Noone was in that room but them two. One of them now dead, the other millions richer!! So who knows!!! In my opinion, if it wasnt MJ...and his kind of money...that man accused would be sittin in jail on that charge! Again, just my opinion. You dont settle outta court with that kind of money when your innocent...cant see it. But again...hes gone now, and everyone has thier opinions on him...but thats not what Im saying in this post about his guilt or not...its all about the news coverage and how other things should take priority. Thats one thing we DO agree on!! lol 8)

His life was a sad story to me. I turn the channel over the sensationalism. Only God knows the truth and I will let him sort it out. He was a great musician, and I love to hear the tunes from time to time. Not all day! Just time to time. We need to move on and let him rest in peace, so his family can do the same. :D

That's a naive look at our justice system, to say the least. Unfortunately, this is not one of the shining examples of our courts/justice system, but it likely was much cheaper for MJ to go this route rather than risk a jury trial. Even an acquittal could have cost as much or more than he settled for after legal fees were paid. Sad but true.

I'm 50/50 about his potential guilt... there are a lot of suits like this against wealthy people/corporations that are fully aimed at grabbing money. He was truly a fucked up guy and could have just as easily seen nothing wrong with sharing a bed with young children as he could have actually molested them in my eyes... I'm just not sure.

Yes it was, and if it was Ginger wringing out her rag for three hours, she would have spent darn near 23 dollars of her own lost time giving blood to the needy.

Ok then, YOU read the book.
And the general word on the settling out of court from various sides was the urging of his publicists, managers, family, label, even Quincy Jones and Liz Taylor told him settling out of court would be better since it would avoid a media circus, be cheaper, and he could just put it behind him and get on with his career. It didn't work out that way for Mike. And it certainly didn't look good. But the appearances of situations are totally deceiving when we're watching from the outside... going on a lot of hearsay, sources, and downright gossip.

Anyhow, not to derail Did's thread. I have about 500 miles of driving to do shortly. Y'all have a great weekend. :)

Haha I didn't read his book, just my thoughts based on what I know about Jacko and the courts (know a lot more about the latter than the former, besides his music).

Yes it was, and if it was Ginger wringing out her rag for three hours, she would have spent darn near 23 dollars of her own lost time giving blood to the needy.

What is this fascination with women and wringing out tampons?  Some fetish of yours sugar bear?

What you pinch hit with a tampon when the dildo's batteries die? Does Mrs Tampax come off the bench to save a game?
