Was just watching these old clips again (sorry about the quality) and couldn't believe the energy. Watching all 5 of them, they were totally ON FIRE! Would love to have seen a 'Day On The Green' show back in the day.

Cyndy, Frank, anybody else, just curious......did you guys keep ALL your ticket stubs? I used to go to sooooo many concerts back in the day. I now wish I would have kept the stubs. LOL, I would probably have about 1/2 dozen Triumph ones alone. Think I saw them every time they came 'round. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGZ2yMPZlKg

I think I paid 12 dollars for the Escape show at the Spectrum in 82 and 14.50 for the Frontiers show at JFK in 83. Hard to remember. I have the T-Shirts but not the ticket stubs. :(

hey, i guess we're the same age! if i remember correctly, they kicked off the departure tour in march at the palace of fine arts in san francisco. when they came back for DOG in july, i made a big "welcome home journey" banner for them. the banner really stood out in the stadium, because instead of using magic markers on a white bedsheet like everyone else did, i used brightly colored paint on black fabric. i painted the departure scarab in the full rainbow of colors & all their faces in b/w. i think i even glued rhinestones where the white highlights in the feathers are! i took over the dining room table for weeks painting that damned thing. it got me backstage to meet the band, so i guess it was worth it! :D

Oh my favorite triumph show was I think in 1981 thet played at the Oaklnad Auditorium, now Henry J Kaiser.
I remember the band Kix opened for Triumph, that was one of the best stage and Lighting shows I have ever seen besides Pink Floyd's light show!Did you go to the Day on the Green with Forigner,Ufo and Triumph?
