There are so few people here who bother to edit the quote to just the part they're talking about. It's SOOOOO easy to press quote and remove all the stuff before what you're trying to reply to. I'll hold a class for y'all if you want!!

Like Laura, I scroll and scroll and skip and scroll and skip and it's annoying as all hell.

The other day, I saw someone had posted great big ol' screen caps in that PV thread and my first thought was "oh man, these are being quoted over and over" and as I scrolled... I was right. The page would not even load all the way (in the time I gave it, which wasn't much) and I flat out gave up.

My point is - a couple of jokes are always appreciated, sex is awesome and all, but for crying out loud leave the music/info/debates/dustup threads to flow smoothly.
Maybe it's time to make an OT thread where all of you can gather and party like it's 2012. ( We used to have a Booze Thread here and it was working great. Make a Popcorn Thread, will ya?)

Yes, yes, a hundred times yes. Some of it is downright dumb as hell, too. And while people have the right to be who they are, they can be it without quoting every quote in the thread so that you have to scroll through the entire convo in every post, and while maintaining a sense of topicality in a discussion. People can be whomever they want to be here, but for the love of God try to have some appreciation for where you are. If not, there are a gazillion Hannah Montana boards out there that would love to be littered with pointless bullshit.

I, too, want everyone to be who they are and do what they do best on here. What's lacking is a bit of consideration for the other forum members and the owner of this site. Respect is not such a hard thing to show...if you have it, that is.

Ninjas pick out the point they want, quote only that, make a random remark, and wait for the lemmings to run with it. Proper quoting is KEY in ninjadom.
