I'm the one along with my compadre Terry that started the chain reaction at PV.I'm so glad that all the bull shit post from that woman(Kathy) were put here.After she told me I was'nt cool for blah blah blah (outing her),she said for me to email her, I did.She did'nt answer me.I gave her a chance to do the right thing before I went to the next step.I PMed(knowing she reads them)the mods that I was going to make public every thing I had found out through my source at Make a Wish.
It had the expected effect ,she ran like the despicable slime that she is.I am going to the feds as soon as I can get as much info as I can lined up. I went there just checking it out one day and there was a link that said "Look what we did this year" (Talking about the MAWF donation)...well I clicked on the link and there was a check dated back to 2007 posted there. And the link gave you the impression that the donation was made in 2009. I guess I should have said something when I noticed this, but honestly who was there to tell. Steve Perry himself? Now I feel bad, thinking that maybe I could have done something. But there always has been trouble between Kathy and me. Ever since I came on to the scene and put up my site. We have gone round and round. At least I'm hoping now that is one feud that is over.

Kathy is the reason why I stopped sharing rare Journey/Perry videos on my YouTube account. She messaged me on there claiming that all the Journey/Perry videos were her private property, that she bought them with lots of money, and that I stole everything from her. I've never laughed so hard in my life. Private property...Jesus.
She began spamming my YouTube inbox with threats, saying that she will "sue me", she will have me "arrested", she will post the entire content of my book on the Internet...LOL, good material for her mental issues medical records.
But she just went on and on until I was sick to go there and find that cockroach in my kitchen. So I closed the kitchen (semi-pun intended lol)

I'm just glad that Mariet continued sharing so much incredible footage on Youtube.

As for Kathy and her vile ways of robbing people, I think the Feds should send her a postcard with her future condo and her new roomate, Bubba.

Most females know that in order to understand what is happening we need to talk about it and learn from it and know that others went through the same thing. Knowing how others handled the same situations give the rest of us an idea of how best to handle the same thing that is happening to us. If you want drama go upstairs. There's plenty there. This is just a conversation among friends who have bonded over someone we thought was a friend and wasn't.

You're right, very childish.

The fact is, with private material, if it was your eye behind the camera, you own it and have the right to distribute it unless other arrangements are specifically agreed upon, such as things like music videos, live recordings, etc., where the rights are owned by the production company, the band, or whatever type of agreement is prearranged (example, all the Michael Jackson rehearsal material from 2009 is owned by AEG, and they've made an agreement with Sony for the upcoming release...) ... so to happen across a video or photo and post it just because you found it or bought it or got permission to *use* it does not make it "yours".

And I know this is why a LOT of people ran into problems with the website in question. I once saw a photo with a "Property of..." mark across it, and that same photo is credited in the Journey/Perry reissue books as owned by "Steve Perry Archives".

I wonder if he got PV's permission to use it?

I think that half of the Journey/Perry footage that I have (not own, lol) came from Sallee, God bless her heart. She was always so generous. The other half is from other friends. I shared everything with everyone else who didn't have them which is what everyone did. All the videos,bootleg concerts, radio broadcasts, everything made the rounds so many times that it's impossible to say who had the footage first. But I know where mine came from and sure as hell wasn't from PV. No one "paid" anything for this stuff and none of the friends I knew asked a penny for their collection.

I abandoned my YouTube account but I continued sharing stuff in private or here on the MR board.

Oh and I remember one of Kathy's messages to me in which she said that because I'm Youtubing "her" videos she is "losing money". I guess she was charging money for her stuff. What a creep.
