I know ya were. I can tan pretty daggone deep (thank you Cherokee blood), but I spent my teens in a tanning bed and have nothing to show for it other than fine facial lines and a zit-like thing that didn't heal for a year and scared me enough to swear it off. And anyway, it takes at least 3-4 solid hours of direct sun exposure for me to even start to burn, and after a few hours it'll turn brown. But that's a LOAD of UV damage to inflict for a little tan. :shock:

Unfortunately it looks like I won't be able to make it to JTTC as I had hoped. My car isn't drivable because of the hail storm in Sturgis so I can't get to the Minneapolis airport for the flight!

I'm hoping to get United to issue a refund, but we will see what happens. To all who are going, have a great time! Maybe next year...

Seriously, in my case, however, 50 is WAY better than 30 was, or 40 for that matter. I was sorta beaten down by life and looked it.

Trust me here, I have an aunt and a stepmother who were heavy sun-worshippers and still visit tanning beds regularly. Both are in their early 40s, both look like crinkly wrinkly old leather bags. My mom quit tanning in her 20s (like me) and she's 47 and looks 30. So, I'mma stick with my comment.

Yup. They're sold out of them, but we have a couple of extras here at the office, if you don't mind them not being shrink wrapped.

Just and FYI, they're reissuing them (why I need to find Richie after the show Friday for files/discs) with a DVD.
