That isn't a demo. That is from the King Biscuit Flower Hour radio show recorded in 1978, recorded live in the studio. They were joined in the studio by the Tower Of Power horn section, Tom Johnston from The Doobie Brothers and Annie Sampson and Jo Baker from Stoneground. Love this whole session and wish they had officially released it. They did include one track from the session (Good Times) on the Time3 box set.

Very cool info, thanks! That recording is amazing, and I wish that version would have made the album.

+1 Wheel has always been one of my top 5 favorite Journey songs and this version is wonderful. Everytime I hear that intro it gives me chills. Beautiful!
Let's hear Arnel sing that!

That version of WITS is not a demo......it came from the radio program "King Biscuit Flower Hour: Superjam II" which was a radio show that aired at sometime during 11/78. That show was also the first official performance by Steve Smith on drums with the band......
Rock on,

I agree. Guitars101 is a super place to find a lot of stuff.

Someone mentioned Revelation demos. The only one that I have is that Wind of Freedom that journeygirl posted. Does someone have more? I thought there was some Hunsicker demos that he posted at one time. I am a demo nut and will graciously accept all help for more. Thanks.

I think J was discouraged from sharing those by the powers that be... they were cool to hear though.
