You have to seriously ask this?

2004, 2005 and 2006, at least 7 of these assholes were in fact criminals.

Oh come on, LOL....I could see Wolfman Black or John Villenueva or Pat Morrow being appropriate fodder for this sorta thing, but anything Mike and I did on the website is utterly insignificant with respect to this band's history....hell, Deano has had a far greater impact to the band's history, by a factor of at least 10...

The only thing I could comment to would be to their general lack of care/interest about their internet fans (save for Augeri)....and frankly, that sorta shit isn't really necessary...even in a book that discusses the good and bad.....

Plus, I don't need any more attention....really. Last thing I need is another soibhan tobin posting lies about my work involvement with this band....too many people have jumped to unnecessary and inappropriate conclusions already....

Maybe Schon will get it done someday. He may still be needing big bucks and if he is as honest and frank as he is in his interviews, he could do it. I believe he has all the answers.

Same here. And, Andrew, I put down for Herbie, b/c I read through the choices too quickly while at work and thought you meant a full history of AOR music. So minus one from Herbie add to full history. That's what I put down for in your other thread also, book on Journey.

Schon, honest and frank? LOL are you drinking? He lies more than a fucking rug! That guy could try to tell you it is raining when it's sunny and 85 degrees.

Yeah, Schon will spill the beans if he tells all and I think that the time will come when he will find it profitable.

I would say yes if he were drinking. I heard that guy in fact spill a lot of beans of which I won't repeat here, but now tha he is sober, I bet he is a lot sharper and has better judgment.

Why not? You don't owe them anything.

you should post a bunch of quotes and let all of us try and figure out who said what!

Naw, guy code. Just because I think Schon is Lucifer doesn't mean I need to squeal on him for everything he did or said wrong. I had a great time that weekend and prefer to leave it like that.

The game idea is tempting though...maybe after a few more beers you can talk mew into that.

Friga won't talk. Perry won't talk. What the Hell is it going to be, a bunch of copy and paste newspaper articles, Tiger Beat interviews, a summation on the arcade game? Gimme a break. It will a complete waste of time, and we hardcores won't learn a Goddamned thing new. Even is SP were to open up, which he will never do, it would be a one sided affair.

Screw the entire book and screw the Escape deal too. If you can't get a single faction to comment, it's a moot point.

Screw Herbert as well. I used to love that guy, but he is nothing but a bitter man, who will say colorful shit, but it will be laden with bias as thick as Rosie O'Donells thighs. Fuck that too.

The obvious choice here is a rock n roll sitcom. AjM, you threw this idea at me long ago. I also have thought about this idea and to me it's the most practical and probable.

This is not a slam against Mac at all- Love the dude like a brother, but without the chord, you can't have any power. You are riding a bike without pedals my friend. If these assholes, I mean that from the deepest part of my heart, because they are exactly that, won't give you the time of day, move on to a band that will. Journey ain't that fuckin' special.

When I was hanging with the band, I had this idea hit and run with this type of idea. I think Drew has a better understanding of what he wants to do and I'll leave it at that. I would love to however, corroborate with him on this. He lacks humour sometimes, IMO.

That was rude. Monker was just saying things due to caring enough to try to help motivate. After all you did write things in 2 threads now on trying to get a barometer of what other people think towards which direction you should go so what he said was appropriate and I and some others thought the same. I also put my two bits on here as well and debated one idea to explore one option out of the choices. Its not that anyone is trying to tell you what to do, its just a matter of discussing the options and giving their own opinions towards what you have laid out to discuss. Certainly what Monker has said here would be a part of the discussion if you are still undecided.

He said it with care so if it was me I would have thanked him for his encouragement, not responded in a self defensive sarcastic manner. Even if you know exactly what he means and don't feel like you need to be told anything, I think you have failed to see that he took the time to say something to motivate for your benefit, not his own.....just like the rest of the contributions from people in this thread that took the time to think about it and write their opinion even if you don't choose to consider any of it.

If you didn't want to know what people think then why did you ask? If you already reached a conclusion on what you wanted to do then why ask? If you don't need motivated then why continue to make comments occassionally thru the years I've been on here that you want to write a book...plan on writing a book? and now with these two threads try to float some ideas out to people to get some indication of what some would like for you to do? I think Monker was right on the money and what I said was correct...you shouldn't be asking us what you should do you should do what you are most passionate about and quit talking about it, quit making excuses for not doing it and just start doing it.

(You get my thanks, anyway, Monker. I too am well aware of what you were saying but its always good to get what you said brought back to mind so thanks for the motivation. :) )

I think he said things in this thread in the way a football coach might to motivate a player...

I would love to see a book written about the entire history of Journey whether is it is authorized or unauthorized from Andrew or anyone else willing to take on such a project.

Robyn Flans 48 page picture book about Journey is a bit dated...

The die hards need a great book published about Journey...a movie would be great too!

Now that said, Andrew seems to be a very busy guy...Who knows, maybe the book release can be 10 years down the road lol...by then the guys will be older and a tad grayer..I am sure some of fans will as well :)

You just can't help being a fucking windbag of rambling, semi-conscious, mind-numbing analysis, huh? Your tangents are miraculously pointless and lacking. In the end, your posts have the depth of a pile of termite shit. Try getting to the point in less than a thousand words just once. Regards.
