SALT LAKE CITY, (ABC 4 News) - 17-year-old, Cameron Brock is a typical teenager; he loves sports, music, and concerts, but just last month, Cameron got to do what most teenagers will never get to, meet up with his favorite band.

Thanks to the Make-A-Wish foundation, Cameron and his family spent a week in Reno, sightseeing, eating out, and hanging out with the band Journey.

Cameron was referred to Make-A-Wish after being diagnosed with Ewings Sarcoma, a rare disease in which cancer cells are found in the bone or soft tissue.

His treatment has consisted of dozens of hospital visits, lasting at least five days each, which is why Make-A-Wish jumped in and helped.

Besides attending the concert, Cameron and his family received autographs and chatted with all of the band members.

Cameron is currently doing better. He is done with his treatments for now.

Click on the link above for a short video in the website about Cameron and his meeting with the band. AP signing Cameron's guitar at 1:02 of the video.

Let me quote Tito........"THEY ARE GOOD PEOPLE." :D

Props to the band. 8) :D

Great story. Good on them for taking time out to do that. They seem much more inclined to do really good things lately. Bookend charity gigs around the tour and this. Nice to hear.

Thanks Chubby. Nice Find. :D

Journey has always been a supporter of charities particularly children's charities.

I'm even heading to SLC in the morning.

Make a Wish and Journey are both great when it comes to children. My daughter had cancer (brain tumor) and chose to go to Disney World. When Journey was near by the childrens hospital she was being treated at arranged for her to attend a show and meet the band. They all treated her like royalty. SA took a special interest in her. I can't say enough about what good human beings the Augeri's are.

Very cool. :D

I think when you get to "important" to see kids like this, is when you need to throw in the towel. Or a major attitude adjustment.
