Do have fun! I wish I was in your shoes.

There's nothing quite like a DL show. Phenomenal stage and lighting setup, and songs that you won't be able to get out of your head for days. After all the concerts I've been to, no show can get my adrenaline going quite like Leppard.

That's with Poison and Cheap Trick right? Have fun man.
I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

Actually DL really should use lipping... Joe is starting to sound horrible. I'd rather hear some backing tracks myself. If he's already using lipping they should turn it up louder.

My prediction is that Gator had 19 and a half Natural Lights, got into 2 arguments, one fight and had a great time. I also think that when we ask him how Leppard sounded he's gonna say "I think they were pretty good."

well, here is a quickie post, because I am so damn hung over I hurt all over. The concert was GREAT. Thats all I can say about it. Def Leppard gives you your moneys worth. Best show Ive seen live in a long time. I cant say they werent lipping, but I truly doubt they were but they sounded GREAT. I went with 8 people and all they can say is DL sounds as good live as they do on CD. What a great show. And Bret Micheals brought "Big John" out on the stage from Rock of LOve....that was a cool moment, but I think I could kick his ass if I had to.....and when Cheap Trick came out to open it was great-the lights went down and a voice over came out and said "The greatest fucking rock band of all time...CHEAP TRICK!!!!!!!!!!!!" I love those guys.
After concert yours truly had to save the day. Lakewood Ampitheater is not in a good section of town. We walked out and found out we were in the wrong spot to grab a taxi by law. So we took off walking to the next best spot. A carload of 4 "thugs" stops in the middle of the road and jump out challenging my friends in the back to a fight..probably more of a robbery. I was in the front so I ran to the back, got between everyone, grabbed my cell phone and screamed "9-1-1" as loud as I could and told the dispatch they better get here fast....I have a gun and Im about to kill someone..... Needless to say these thugs jumped back into their car and sped off, of course calling me every choice name they could think of as they left. Anyway, it was a great concert to say the least and if you get the chance to go do it!!!!!!!!! *I took lots of pics but I havent seen them yet...if they are worth a shit I'll post em.
BTW-I dont know if anyone knows just how bad the Georgia heat is but Joe Elliott went center stage wiping sweat away and said "Holy Shit...its hot as hell in Georgia....." I dug it.
