Ok collectors/fans of Steve what would you class as your rarest item?

I guess mine is a genuine Platinum disc for one million sales of Street Talk.

List away...

I have the alternate artwork for Next, bought from the Herbie Herbert auction, but that's not a SP item... maybe FTLOSM on vinyl?

Ginger, do you know who made the FTLOSM quilt (the album cover) that SP mentions in an interview?...he said he hung it in his studio. That would be neat to see.

I don't have any rare SP items...but, being at the WOF ceremony and getting his autograph on a Frontiers album is rare & precious to me. :) (and, the pics I took).

The only thing I guess I have is an unopened LP of Street Talk. I just got it a few weeks ago for $1.00. I got all the other Journey LP's too. All for a buck each. I have some posters and a signed 8x10 pic, but that's it. I'm not much of a collector. I guess if it's expensive I'll pass on it.

I have one item, don't really want to say what, not signed or anything, that I happened across by sheer accident and also very CHEAP... a limited number of this type of item exists and when you do find them they are upwards of a few hundred bucks... mine was barely $40 because the person selling it had no idea what they actually had in their posession...LOL), but that's it.

And no, it's not a chunk of hair or a vial of sweat or anything weird. Just a kind of cool "rock and roll collection" type thing.

Of course not. I just don't need to be one of the "I have this or that" type people. It's not that big a deal anyway, but it's one of those items where people are sometimes like, "Wow, what are you doing with that? You big LOON!" and that's not the case with me. I just thought it was a cool thing and since it was a steal, I figured why not. I'm a lot more excited about the autographed items I have, actually, than about my one random Perry item.

(plus there's the added bonus of people going "come on, tell us!!" LMAO!)

Though not specifically Perry and I have no idea how rare it is I have a Spanish language 45 rpm vinyl of Any Way You Want It. In Spanish the title is Como Tu Quieras. Even though it no longer has it's cellophane cover the disc itself is in pristine condition.

Thanks, Sarah. I'm curious as to what it looks like...I can't imagine how difficult that was to make...I took a beginning quilting class & had a hard time with just basic geometric pieces.

Nope, I don't have anything that would be regarded as rare or collectible .... just a whole bunch of cd's and dvd's to watch & listen to that are shared among fans ad nauseam.

Wow, BJG, an item of SP's you bought "cheap" for $40 when it's valued over $100. You've got me intrigued, too, wondering what it could be. I mean ... SP is everything to us, but he's not really that big in the mainstream conscience, is he?

No, but get the loons going and they'll pay anything. LOL. Not necessarily "valued" at, but I have seen them sell for between $250 and $500 just because of the Perry connection. I would never. And one day I could probably dump it and make a pile of dough too, so another reason to keep it mum. :D :D
