Cool! I LOVE that song.... and all the ROR ones actually.
"as long as they have to carry DSB as their banner, it looks like Perry will be right there with them as an overseer, ready to wield his veto power on all things Classic Journey." As quoted by Don on 12/7/2010

ROR is Journey's best, most sophisticated album. Which is why it's my favorite.

Of all the songs he sang, SP has said that his best vocal performance was on Happy To Give.

Great, great album. I loved the funky side that Randy Jackson added on bass.

Never heard Perry state that he felt it was his best vocal, but Cain sure did say it in the Time3 booklet.

This has to be my overall fav of his singing.....he did it over and over...it's in the behind the music thing (I will have to watch it again I got the tape) that cain talked about how he wanted to do take after take....This is vocal...ultimate Perry...others have their favs....good morning girl is my fav song...but vocal wise...if I had to choose over all the years....Happy to Give...

It should have been! But there were a lot of good single material on that album...Why Can't This Night should have been the second single released instead of the 5th. Suzanne would not have been my choice for a second single.
