Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

It's probably going to stay like this in here until some new news comes out. Once we hear some new songs, or get something NEW to check out... it's just concert after concert of the same old songs (to me anyway). I'm not excited about this summers concerts at ALL. I am very interested in buying their new dvd and cd when they come out though! :D

Now back to more important matters.

Deb, we're not going too deep into Canada. Just to Niagra Falls. I've been there several times, but my friend has never been there so he wants to see The Falls firsthand & the wax museums & stuff like that. It's really nice there this time of year.

Deb, I lived in a little town called Florenceville and it was about 45 minutes above Maine. Pretty damn cold place!  I did get to play in the snow a lot though when I was a kid. That and trout fishing.

Chicken!!

A few years ago, the hospital where I worked had just opened up and they didn't quite have the ordering supplies thing down....so at midnight on a Friday night we run out of "those things" (as you put it)...so I had to go to WalMart at midnight and buy enough to last the hospital through a very long and busy weekend.....you should have seen the looks I got when I went up to the checkout with about 50 packages of them!!!!

I think I woulda quit my job if they asked ME to do that.

You big baby. What is it with guys being so weirded out by "those things"? They don't even want to know about them being in the house. You all wouldn't even go down that aisle if they didn't also keep the condoms there. Ask a guy to buy them and forget it!

By the way, I don't ask guys to buy them - not because "aw I wouldn't make my guy do thaaaaaaat!" - no, I don't ask because you could write down what you want in four languages and give them a picture of the box and they will still get the wrong thing. And I'm quite sure they do it on purpose so they won't be asked to do any shopping EVER, for ANYthing.

"Uh, honey, I told you, the kind in the blue box with the purple stripe... I even wrote down the name..."

"Is this not what you wanted?"

"Well, this is a package of 60 watt light bulbs, so, no, it isn't quite what I wanted."

(you'd think a guy would be smart enough to know if they're being asked to go buy "those things" - it's probably NOT the wisest time to fuck up the shopping order.  )
