Nice to see that you're a loon too.

So don't pretend you aren't, and we are all whacked out freaks.

Don't even attempt to throw me into that category.

I'm a fan of the music, and I was posting on that thread because I was making fun and joking around - which is 90% of what I do here - joke around, the same way T-bone was poking fun by posting that topic in the first place.

I am nowhere near what some people are, googling his name every day just to find any mention of his name. There is being a fan of the music and the talent, and then there is a scary level of obsessive, such as creating a twitter account and instead of using your own name, using his, and emailing anyone he might have ever met asking questions about him.

Sure they know it - we all know it. :D Some are just better at discussing it without the need for a bib. That's what upstairs is for, apparently. Plus you know, all those other guys in Journey... what're they're names again? John something... Neal... no wait, Neil... Diamond? No that's not right... you know, the little guy with the afro...

But I'm a sport so keeping on topic here... here's some pictures...

Define normal. I haven't read anything Journey up there (with the exception of a concert review) since this forum was created. 99.9% of threads begin with OT.

It's in the perception of the beholder.
And you're right, there's a lot of OT stuff up there. Was there a point to that statement, or just making a general observation?
You all have your right to post a bajillion pictures of Perry and proceed to giggle over them like pre-teens. I won't chastise you for it, but if you call that on topic discussion for the MelodicRock forums, you must also allow the Journey forums' random threads to be considered on topic as well. Discussing Perry's ass is about on par with a thread concerning werewolves. We just have the decency to warn you it has absolutely nothing to do w/ Journey's music ahead of time.

One of the two undoubtedly has more fur than the other but I don't know the answer as to which. Should anyone discover the solution, please feel free to post in a perry thread or a werewolf thread, as either would technically be 'on topic'. Thanks. 8)

Yup. Definitely the Perry thread. I think it should be tucked in somewhere between the hairy nipple conversation, and the one about Perry's Mood-Ring-like eye color changeability...

Oh, and let me add, getting sticky over some picture that pre-dates my existence by a decade is/was/and never will be a requirement of "liking" Perry. Or Journey.

There IS a difference between appreciation of the man and his music and obsession. Some Loons don't seem to know where and when to draw the line.

Just a general observation of sorts. It just seemed more interesting with the bantering between and loons and the rest, and the topics seemed to center more around "Journey" in whatever form.

That's the sort of bantering I was talking about. I guess I need a life if this is entertainment to me.....and it is.

I happen to like SP...and, yes, I think he's physically attractive...bet he could curl my toes if I met him. :)

You'll never spoil my fun! As I've stated before, I have selective sight...I just ignore certain people that I think are tacky such as SJ, RD, etc.

Rhi... is that honestly how you feel? Do you actually seek out situations to fuck people over Just because you Can?

That is completely F*ed up, girl. Really very disappointing. Not everyone finds that amusing.

You don't know me personally, so I can see where you wouldn't see this with my usual sarcastic intonation.
No that is not how I feel. Honestly. I don't seek out situations to fuck people over for fun.
It bugs me when people post about "i don't know why people are here... blah blah blah". And I've always wanted to just answer one of those with the most ridiculous remark I could come up with. And I'm pretty proud of that one, because it is just as redundant as the comment in which it is in reply to.

I did not address my remark to anyone it particular, did I? Someone chose to respond so maybe it hit a nerve? I really was thinking more of a guy on the Journey forum; however, if the shoe fits, etc.

Ok.. I understand you. Sarcasm, however, rarely comes across well in the written word. It is usually best perceived when spoken, so that one can hear it in the voice. See the friendly smile on the face. We don't have that luxury here. Attaching an emoticon after a sarcasm doesn't really suffice either. Sorry, I've just seen too many people use the sarcasm excuse when, in truth, they were just being nasty. Not saying you are. I guess I just wish it didn't happen at all. The world doesn't need any more negativity. Just my two cents.
