You do realize you're on a board that STILL analyzes the hell out of every note on Perry's entire 95-95 tour and still brings up the 2005 White Sox "performance" every chance it gets... you think Arnel is immune? That Superbowl performance was THIS year, so we have a good 5 more years before discussion even begins to die.

YESSSS.......well put!!!

Well, then I can't wait until Perry comes out with something new. All I can say is, it better be good!

I am sure it will be...and I am sure you will be ready to analyze it!!

If he actually has his name on the writing credits, that will be worth a few points in itself.

If it sounds like FTLOSM, I will be very critical, so be forewarned.

I'm not a big fan of EMO-Rock

I like to sit out on the front porch, where the birds can see me, eating a plate of scrambled eggs, just so they know what I'm capable of.

So has anyone figured out if this gets televised or if there is going to be a webcast? I'd prefer to see something other than distorted and shaky YouTubes with ladies yelling out to Arnel or Neal.

They'll televise a few songs. It won't be aired live of course. They did the same thing with Foreigner last August to promote a new single the band had released with a new greatest hits album. Maybe Journey has something new? Their tour is almost over and Revelation is dead in the water, they must have something else worth pimping.

Celtic Woman does it all the time also, Today Show, Good Morning America, Dancing with the stars, a few songs every appearance, all for promoting their tour and new abum. Journey must have something up their sleeve.

I REALLY want to believe that, but I'm willing to bet we'll hear DSB...as usual; possibly Separate Ways.

More likely, an acoustic version of Open Arms.

Cmas season is just around the corner. They've got their catalog to promote. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me one bit to see the remakes put out solo as a new GH album.

Same here. I heard that the Manila DVD will be released sometime in October and that the documentary will be out December 1st. Supposedly the Ramona Diaz, the producer, is working with HBO on the documentary.

I've got the rumoured setlist for the CBS program. It's 5 songs long and features some of Journey's biggest hits.

1. Back Talk
2. Suzanne
3. Oh Sherrie
4. Nickel & Dime
5. The Rape

Another update regarding Journey appearance at CBS Early Show. This was posted at the Journey site by somebody by the name of Early Show. Here is the information he posted.

"Hi everyone...I'm the Audience Coordinator for The Early Show. Our audience load-in will be at 10:30AM, with the show starting a half hour earlier than advertised at 11:30AM. So you may want to arrive earlier than that. We can fit about 650 people in the actual area of the Plaza, we then begin loading in the surrounding area, so everyone should be able to have a great view!

Any questions, you can e-mail me at brguest@cbsnews.com with the subject line JOURNEY QUESTION."

Early Show was at Journey site SB chatting with some members early in the morning today, August 24, 2009. Here is the discussion among them.

They scrapped those songs at the last minute, along with 'Some Day Love Will Find You' and 'Small Town Girl'.
