I have no sympathy for any man who would leave a woman in a submerged car. NONE! POS should have had manslaughter charges brought against him and did some time. Instead you libs make him out as a Saint or something, frankly it's sickning to me.

You're a fucking idiot!

He is stating his opinion, because of that he is an idiot??? You are acting like one right now with that comment.

Why? You 'libs' certainly didn't let us do it to him when the fucking piece of shit was alive and could stand trial and be made to face justice?

Sorry....I'm not a believer in absolving someone of their sins in life, just because they're dead! Hitler didn't get what he deserved...and if we, as a people, forgave and forgot the evil this man did, we'd see him again one day.

The Hyannis murderer got away with, well...murder. This isn't the first person to die recently, that escaped true justice while thousands of lemmings are content to bury their heads in the sand and forgot about it......just to protect their individual feelings.

i am not excusing the unfortunate event known as chappaquiddick, not at all. i do look at the record of the senator and am glad he served his constituents and us all so well. be it civil rights, americans with disabilities or access to health care, the man worked hard to make life better for many. i guess some of you simply despise the man. why not start a 'trash the dead' thread so those of us who mourn his passing can do so without the vile interjection some of you choose to spew? yeah right, that'll happen  .

I won't say anything, but this:

I'll wait until the next time a controversial conservative passes and see if those "courteous" people on the left throw their political views away to eulogize said right-winger with "respect" and turning a blind eye to the "views" they disagreed with...

That's the whole point! Time for some to celebrate what they perceive as some extremely late justice and/or him meeting his maker and having to atone for his actions.

We all of faults & not perfect in anyway. But he was a great man other than what happened to Marry Jo.But look what he has done for so many. He was the last of the great line of Kenneny's. We have the young and not sure what they will do. But let it drop for now.I am for peace & love not hate.

There is never a bad time to speak the truth.

The truth lies between positive and negative. Some choose to only look at one side of the balance sheet and some the other. Take away long held bias of partisan politics and then see what the other side shows before determining what the whole truth of the man was. Find the balance and you'll find the truth.

I think any man in the senate who schemes with other countries in a plot to overthrow America's government is nothing but a terrorist. Ted Kennedy passed that test with flying colors.

I won't miss him.

Happens all the time, sadly. I'd love to block out the entire memory of my dad's funeral, and not even for the obvious reason.

Nothing I can say that hasn't been said. Sad thing any time there's a death. It's sad for the family that this should happen right after Eunice's passing, and as Rhi pointed out, with last month being the 10 yr. anniversary of John Jr. passing... sad. :?
