Ya know, the more I think about it, the more I believe that when SP referred to K as "Queen" he was talking about her Queen-sized ego! I was once a member of PV and at the time, absolutely loved it there, as I'd become friends with some really wonderful people. It wasn't long before K banned one of my friends for daring to disagree with her. Within hours, K and her faithful sidekick were phoning certain members at home (rather than IMing with them, for fear the convo would be saved and possibly incriminate her) to find out if these people would side with the banned friend, or with K. If these members showed a modicum of loyalty to the banned friend, they'd be locked out themselves, in a heartbeat! K even went so far as to send out a mass email, portraying herself as the victim and making our friend seem like an evil psychopath. It was then that I realized PV was becoming more like a cult and K as the leader, was trying to control her members from associating with anyone on the "outside" and possibly fraternizing with the enemy.

Queen sized ego? Oops. I thought it was her Queen sized ass being refered to.

Yep i think you may be right about that.

No wonder he called her "Queen" he meant it in more ways than one...but I don't think he meant it as positively as she took it!

For those who don't know I'm the one who found out about the falsified MaW donations and with others, subsequently got PV shut down.I have seen a lot of comments about high priced shirts and the fact that nobody forced anyone to buy them.No one forces anyone to buy an item from any site on line. But when you don't get the merchandise or the money returned, is it any less a crime just because no one forced you to buy it?If you represent yourself as a legitimate sales place of this merchandise, then it is a criminal act to not act in good faith and provide the promised merchandise in a reasonable amount of time or refund the money as would any legitimate business.Just because no one forced you to buy a shirt from an online business does'nt mean it's your fault if you don't get the merchandise..For me the shirts are'nt the issue.Yea it pisses me off to be taken by that sleeze but if a couple of shirts was all that was at stake I would probably would just chalk it up and move on.But that is how she has gotten away with so much for so long.The guy at Make a WISH told me there was a special place for people who steal from sick kids.I think he's right but why should she have to wait til she's dead to pay?If nothing else,it has been worth my time to get to meet so many of you.I have filed the complaint on line against her.This is how the FBI said to start the ball rolling.I will next take all the other pieces of evidence to the local office in person.If your reading this Kathy,and I know you are,you have made a lot of enemies who are now involved with the procedings.

I have to agree about the t.shirts but takeing from the kids is just worng on all counts.Krama has away of getting you and it will be done.You can be a bad person and do the things you do.But take from kids & threre family that so want the help for there kids.

Be careful of those who promise good deeds until they have proven themselves to be who they say they are. I surely hope this is indeed a person who is going to pursue charges against the owner of the site. Let us not be betrayed by KN herself who has come to calm fears and lulled everyone into believing that she is going to get her due now and we don't have to wait for karma. I joined solely for the Steve Perry information. I don’t post much…y’all are too mean….as witness this tread. I was a Moderator on the Perryville site and I have personally met Kathy and her lovely family – my opinion, you’re entitled to yours. I have stayed at her house on several occasions and I have gone to events with her and several other members of the Perryville site. I was not present at the 2006 star meeting so I can not comment on any of those issues. Nor can I comment on any of the issues dating back past 2006 since I only joined the Perryville site towards the middle of May 2006…just a bit after the Star meeting.

I’ve been waiting this thread out till I had something to say…..and now I have something to say. I have been having a grand time watching all of you “sheep” add in your ‘eons’ ago observations/opinions and just plain crap – gleefully feeding the herd over the escalation of events for A DAMN T-SHIRT. All I have to say is SHAME ON YOU...ALL OF YOU! I will be fair and concede to a few of you and only give you half of a shame on you – but that is all I will concede.

This accuser person(s) got pissed off over the time it took to get a T-Shirt – AND YES – the T-Shirt does have a shadow image of Steve Perry on it – I own one myself that I got back in 2006. I grant you the extended time it has taken to get the shirts out to those that paid for one is an issue and is about to be taken care of. However, that issue in-of-its-self is NOT A CRIME people. I will not re-hash the details on this because everyone involved has their side/opinion of the details. 99% of you here aren’t entitled to a side on this…..you didn’t order a T-shirt and haven’t a clue. The damn thing is done......it's been so beaten to death that the damn dead horse got so bored it got up and left.

Next....the main reason for this long winded post…

The MAW donation accusations. These were made against Kathy out of hatefulness and pure need for spite. I has led to this entire thread becoming a hateful, shameful and personal attack on Kathy. The accusations were made without any REAL proof. It’s heresay….and as I read it – the accuser(s) had a friend who had a friend connected with MAW and that friend did some checking and made some statements as to the status of the donations. ALL of the allegations are "UNSUBSTANTIATED" and wouldn't hold up in a sieve. But y’all happily climbed on the wagon......whips in hand and took your turn with the lashings. Where did the accuser get their information........post it…I dare you.

This is America and the last time I checked my local newspaper daily lists the names of the thousand of men and women of this country who have died so that we – THE PEOPLE - would have the right to be free and for our basic believe that you are innocent till proven guilty. Very few of you here have taken that sacrifice to heart.

It takes time to get information that is IRON CLAD PROOF from an organization such as MAW. The gentleman in charge of donations for MAW - and who personally gathered the information for Kathy - was very informative about the consequences of MAW staff giving out information – over the phone – regarding donation. If the accuser(s) used false information to obtain the donation information they say they have, that could be a very touchy situation legally on several points.

In order for Kathy to get a listing of her donations the gentleman at MAW asked for several pieces of ‘PERSONAL’ information – that no one other than Kathy would have knowledge of – before he agreed to send her the information she requested.

This proof has now been obtained. Neither she nor I have a clue how – or from whom – the accuser(s) got their information but we have an educated guess. But I know FOR ABSOLUTE CERTAIN where Kathy obtained hers.

Oh Kathy always the victim......Not that it matters to me but for everyone who bought a T-Shirt and I do own one of those T-shirts in the photo I only paid $25.00 American for it Why is it now $40.00 Per shirt.....If the company already has the logo on file then shouldn't the t-shirts still be closer to the $25.00 rather than $15.00 more.......A question some may like answered for me I don't care I already have mine and PV I left over 3 years ago now.......Hey Rebecca what ever happened to Kathy;s good friend Tree has she been replaced.

I paid the money for it and when all this blew up I considered it a lesson learned and the money lost. Especially when PV closed as fast as it did. I paid the money to keep the forum open for at least 2 years. I was a member in good standing. I don't follow the "herd" & I , too have mind of my own and can think for myself and I know right from wrong and I also believe that if you can't follow through on your word don't give it. Congrats on being a moderator on the sight. But, how dare you point fingers accusing people just from a thread. You may be mad, so what, so are others mad about something everyday. In the long run this really is small potatoes. If anything comes out of this, it would be the tee shirts which should have been delivered long time ago. If KN got so busy that she couldn't fill the order then she should have come clean and refunded us our money. We would have understood. If I remember correctly, we were a very understanding bunch of people.

The total is $13,000.00 and some change donated from Perryville and its members over the years. Sneeze at that if you like......it is what it is.

The rest of your "statments" are you opinoin...and you are entitled to them....just as I am entitiled to mine. Reading a PM is kinda petty in the larger picture.

My defense of Kathy was over the hatefull remarks regarding the Make-A-Wish donations. Someone a few pages back asked for proof....which she has done.


Anything else is water under the bridge and if you wish to hang onto it I have no objections.

You make some valid points.....it did take too long to send out the shirts. Inflation hit even the T-shirt industry. Some of the peramiters for for oders were changed - which was spelled out on the PV tread. Kathy didn't make the new order specifics ...the T-shit company did. All that aside...she accepts she wasn't timely in getting them out....it is now being taken care of and your T-Shirt will be coming shortly.

I don't know about you but I spend $6.00 a week on coffee at Starbucks.....I sent in $6.00 for a year for the PV site. So I had get coffee at the gas station one morning....yeeish

Rebecca, just a question. Note however, I don't believe you'd have the answer to it, it's more a question out to everyone.

I noticed that the name of the MAW manager is whited out. Why? Certainly, there will be those that would want to confirm the legitimacy of that letter directly with that person, especially if those in question felt that their funds were not allocated properly. So now we have one employee saying one thing, and this letter indicating the opposite. I was not a member over at PV, but there seem to be quite a few here as of late. Perhaps they would want to contact that particular person who typed out this note.

Without the name, the note loses credibility in my opinion. It's rather easy to take former letterhead, and copy information onto it. I used to use graphics from one event for other events, and would copy the letter head portion, and put new information at the bottom. Saved time prior to computer savvy programs.

I'm not saying that's what's happened here, but without a name at the bottom, someone that could be contacted, the letter is less credible. Bottom line, if there's nothing to hide, ... there's nothing to hide. JMHO.

It took this thread to go to 23 pages before Kathy got off her arse and did something about those T-Shirts..

As for people being mean in this thread LyricalLady.. I see people who are frustrated and downright mad at the treatment Kathy gave them. If you are to be an owner/administrator of a site, you better have your nose clean and keep members informed on things... especially if it involves money... their money... And I don't see Kathy doing any of this... when the heat gets too hot... Kathy just closes down the site to avoid the shite she started by not keeping them informed. (this goes for other shite that happens on the site too. )

Kathy has you wrapped around her finger, and of course you will come in to "defend her"... since she can't do it herself. It won't become apparent to you until you are not wrapped around her finger that you will see that Kathy is sneaky and devious person.. she has done it before in the past.. and she will do it again... I noticed that the name of the MAW manager is whited out. Why? Certainly, there will be those that would want to confirm the legitimacy of that letter directly with that person, especially if those in question felt that their funds were not allocated properly. So now we have one employee saying one thing, and this letter indicating the opposite. I was not a member over at PV, but there seem to be quite a few here as of late. Perhaps they would want to contact that particular person who typed out this note.

Without the name, the note loses credibility in my opinion. It's rather easy to take former letterhead, and copy information onto it. I used to use graphics from one event for other events, and would copy the letter head portion, and put new information at the bottom. Saved time prior to computer savvy programs.

I'm not saying that's what's happened here, but without a name at the bottom, someone that could be contacted, the letter is less credible. Bottom line, if there's nothing to hide, ... there's nothing to hide. JMHO.

But, say for the sake of your request, Kathy left the mans name readable. UMMMMMMM 200 calls to MAW clogging up their lines...not cool. I already figured this would be an issue. IT is what it is , if you can't take what you see for it's face value...short of setting up a lunch with the guy...it's just going to have to be what it is.

The man wants to keep his job.....numerous calls on this...taking up his time better spent on his JOB...that he gets paid to do. Get reasonable...would your boss let you yak on the phone for endless calls on this? I think not. There has been enough damage done to everyone concerned.....getting a very nice man fired.....it's just not going to happen. The post was for my friend....as I know her now. You must live in La La land... if counterfeiters can counterfeit money... the yes..you can fake watermarks on paper and a postage mark! There are some very excellent programmes out there that can fake anything! ( checks, Social Security Cards... passports... the list is endless)
