Jeez, Jana, I think that's the very video clip I posted that made GB's ears bleed!

Is it? I haven't listened to all of the clips so maybe it is. I did this as a service for other members, not necessarily for myself.
This thread is for people who just want to watch the videos without sorting through all of the half page reviews and other things in between that can be found elsewhere.
Overall, I think this is far better than wading through a dozen threads or a hundred different posts looking for clips.

I can't believe Journey hasn't released 'What I Needed' as a single, or even played it on tour in the U.S. They missed the boat with that one.

I watched Faithfully. I don't know what's happening on that song but he isn't doing it as well as he did last year. Something weird happens right at the 14 second mark. Shades of the FTLOSM tour starting to creep in for a second.

Yes, GB, it is! :( That's precisely the reason why I stopped posting video clips here. BUT . . . creating this particular thread is an excellent idea. Bravo! 8)

The sound on that video is so bad I couldn't tell how he did on the song.

Well, I think it's a really good performance from what I can tell from the Youtube clip. Each to his own.

I think they wanted around 600 people to turn up for the taping but the weather probably screwed that up.

Not to mention, Apple was debuting a new OS or something, so a lot of people were inside the store checking that out.

Here's a short interview.

Unless this video is a bad indication, I feel that HIGHER PLACE does not really work with Deen & Arnel. I seems like the blend of Deen & Augeri's voices fit the harmonies better than Deen & Arnel's. Arnel's more operatic tone did not seem to fit it well to me.

Maybe it's just me.

Last year, Foreigner was pimping a new song and a Greatest Hits package.
The tour's almost finished, what were Neal and the guys pimping?

They're pimping their new singer. People want to hear songs they know and the band has an obligation to play a few songs to show that the new guy can do them justice. If they didn't play old songs the fucking excuse on here would be "They know he can't do them justice so they're sticking to new stuff!" How 'bout this...let them play whatever the fuck they want!

Arnel's voice is too strong for a lot of the Augeri stuff.

It would be like JSS singing Open Arms. Not a good fit.

Arnel's voice is changing because of the catalog.
The high notes he used to hit singing a bunch of those songs with the Zoo won't sound the same anymore. The voice he had last year was adaptable to Augeri's but nw he is using more baritone and mid range instead of being a predominent tenor who could on occasion be an alto.

i just wish the same old songs weren't being played. i started seeing journey again back in 2004 and 5 years later the set is basically the same. that has got to get boring for the players.

wow...that's just a load of mistakes there, sorry. Your voice especially at 40 won't change that much in a year. If anything I think his voice sounds stronger with more range then what I hear from the Zoo vids.

By another Uploader with great audio quality and not only close-up but multi-angled shots. Dunno how a normal/regular audience/uploader did that.

For me, it sounded two Deens/Arnels, maybe Deen is mistakenly singing lead because he's used to it?? AATY harmonies sounds great to me though
