OT: Back from Paris, Bonjour!

Postby MBPL » Mon Aug 31, 2009 9:05 am

Welp, I am tired, but rested and broke as hell! I enjoyed my visit overseas, but was happy to return to American soil!!

I hope this email finds everyone at MR doing great and "holding it down" in their perspective homes and work places. I return to work mid-week with a fresh new back "tat" and loads of credit card bills from eating and riding the subway - with no air conditioning, BTW. Phew!! BTW - for those who wonder if getting a tattoo hurts...imagine having someone use a dentists' drill to pry the skin off your bones as you sit screaming inside your skull in pain.

Thanks to some of you for your b-day wishes and well-wishes traveling overseas. It was a very kind-hearted thing to do. Of course, you all know if the plane had crashed after I spent my rent money and the cats' kibble and cat litter money in Paris, screw well wishes, I would return from the dead and haunt all ya'lls asses in your sleep!! (kidding)

There was so much to do and I have lots of photos and video footage that I will put on YT, including MBPL whom I filmed in in costume in front of the Louvre. Yeap, I did it! Thanks to some of you whom I wrote from my laptop, it made me feel connected to "home," you know. Oh, and thanks, Nicole for your ears during my mini crisis!

Steve Perry - I am contemplating the "Perry's Back" video, just not sure when I can find time to shoot it. I will more than likely shoot it in Los Angeles by the Journey star. For those who live near the area you are welcome to be part of the video.

Until then, all the best to everyone...... MBPL (Lorrie)

Welcome back MBPL glad you had a great trip and your back home safe and sound. Can't wait to hear more about your trip, see your photos and enjoy the new MBPL video. Today I took the liberty of setting up a Just For Laughs thread on the SP form. I posted links to all the SP related MBPL videos. WIX is there too.

Damn I need that! It's not that the kitten's litter tray is too icky, it's that the dogs get into and... you don't want to know what they do with what they find in it!! Image
Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!
