My ex's house is in Pasadena, so they can't breathe but so far are ok. However, I know a ton of people out in Palmdale, etc...

I really hate fires. Prayers going out to anyone affected.

My thoughts go out to them.

You couldn't light a fire here right now with napalm. Wet and cold and wind gust passing 150k/h (100mph). Bah! Rained every day for a month here.

Several fires in the area of the province I live in have been burning since July. The latest ones are about 30-45 minutes away from here; some of my co-workers have been evacuated. We've been living with smoke for at least a couple of weeks - the last couple of days in particular have been bad. It almost looks foggy when you go outside. This is the worst year for fire activity since we've been here.

More rain dances! The smoke is thick out here! The kids are amazed at the view of the mountains on fire...just hope no one else gets hurt. God bless those fire fighters.

Thinking back to last February - the wet feels pretty good, doesn't it ;)

Seriously though, thoughts are with them; until you've lived with those kinds of fires, you can't imagine what it does to you. Here's hoping for low days, still winds and fresh rain.

Easily the worst state in the union. Can't balance a fucking budget, can't put out a fire, LA is run by street gangs and there are more illegals in California than the rest of the states combined. Burning the entire state might not be such a bad idea. That said, I hope no one innocent gets hurt.

Nope, you arse-onist! No deal unless the beaches are spared, the sushi bars, Malibu, Six Flags, Starbucks, the second floor of the Northridge Mall, the chocolate shop at Universal City Walk and 94.7 The Wave in downtown LA. Oh and the Journey Star.

Now put the matches down.

and another 5 who were so stupid as to refuse to leave when they could, are now trapped. Fire department can't get to them. I can't even imagine. Praying for a miracle.

people should really leave when asked. they prolly know more about what's going on & it's in your best interest to go. plus it makes it easier for them to fight the fires & not worry about human life. i hope those trapped make it out alive & unharmed. so sad... i can't even imagine...

hope no one else dies. things can be replaced.

Different year, same Asshole.

Go fuck yourself. California is the leader of the nation. More people come here than anywhere, because of the diversity, weather, wealth and promise California can give you. Laugh it up now dickbreath, but we will soon be the envy of all the other 49 states yet again.

Gee, very different speech than the one you told me a few months back when you couldn't get enough of the beach and all the beautiful women here.

Go to Hell.

What an asshole thing to say. You and Titto really get up my schnoz with the stupid things you post.

Try standing face to face with a 50ft wall of flame, flamable trees and 100mph winds and see how easy a fire is to put out. I've done it...love to see the color of your shorts after you try.

God bless the CA firies and good luck with the week ahead.

Let's simply substitute America for California.
