OT: So completely off-topic, but I'm sharing anyway...

My son works at the Paramount Theater here in Seattle, and Wicked opens up tomorrow night.

He just scored us some 7th row center tickets for opening night. Booyah. Wicked is just my most favorite theatrical musical of all time, and I'm a theater GEEK.

To make this quasi on topic... I always thought that Perry would do one helluva Jean Valjean (Les Mis). That would kick ass!

Ok...bouncing now... sorry. WICKED! OPENING NIGHT@@!!!!!

24 hours to go.

Too bad it's not going to be Edina...my hero.

Brian said they were loading in the dragon today, and the orchestra was rehearsing right outside in the lobby (next to his office). He couldn't hear anything else BUT the orchestra.

In a word.... brilliant.

But I knew it would be. Total Wicked geek I am. Galinda was phenominal, Elphaba was clear as a bell. Fiero sang great but looked like he didn't know how to hold onto a girl.

I'm just sayin'.....

Anyway, I was grinning from the moment I stepped into the theater, and I'm still grinning. Oh... and one of the cast members had come up to Brian earilier in the day and tried to get some tickets, Brian said he was swamped, and she said, oh no worries... I'm in the cast... I'll have my manager get them.

It was Galinda.
