Even though this is an audience boot, the quality is very good.

I emailed the uploader to get the entire show.

If he makes you pay for it, maybe consider getting a copy and then setting up a B+P tree. You'd be a lot of people's hero.

Hasn't gotten back to me yet. We'll see.

Great audio quality and not only close-up but multi-angled shots. Dunno how a normal/regular audience/uploader can do the trick.

Any thoughts? :?:

Ah! That's 100x better. If someone got a copy, please share. Thanks

I thought JSS turned them around on the boot issue?

He did. Hell in Atlantic City, during soundcheck, I asked Neal to record the show. He yells out at Elson and says "Kevin, let's record this." After the show, walking into the Boston Hilton, Schon hands me a soundboard boot. Man, say what you will about Soto, but he had the right idea about bringing the band and the internet together and utilizing the mass publicity the Net can offer. I know MR people dug that stuff at the time. I also got Fresno and LA too.

Hey, this bretthejet guy has a lot of vids on Youtube, even of Bruce, Deano. He must have some inside way of getting good sound feed for these. I emailed him because he claims to have completes of all these concerts but I don't think he wants to give these away for free, if you know what I mean.

Who do you think I get most of my entire BS shows from. He posts them onto Jungleland where they can be downloaded for free. Remember I told you Bruce advocates bootlegs, so it's all good there, but no money can change hands. I also told you, he does it with another buddy. One shoots the singer(Bruce and maybe another center stage(Clarence or Nils), and the other records the audio. They go home, and merge the two together and also make album art for each and every show. i think they have been to 670 Bruce shows. Any show you want, you can get, period.

That's absolutely incredible. I wonder how they have the time and where they get the money to go to all those shows. Good lord.

If I were to become independently wealthy somehow, I think I'd become a full time concert goer. There is probably nothing else I'd rather do. Traveling all over and seeing shows would be a total kick in the ass.

Same. On a smaller scale, it's always been a dream of mine to see a band through an entire Midwest swing, something like 5 or 6 shows in a row or something. I obviously need a significant money source to be able to do that.

Yes, but like I have said about 693 times, what makes Bruce so good for me is a different set every night. As good as journey are, the same set every night would not be much fun following around as opposed to them changing it up or even taking requests. the day they do that(take audience requests), I am back on board in a big way.

No I know, that's why I didn't say that I wanted to follow Journey around on a Midwest swing. There is really no value in seeing Journey more than twice on a tour, unless you see them at different times throughout their tour. Seeing five or six Journey shows in two weeks might mean you only see two or three different songs rotating in the set. Not worth it.

Dave Matthews Band is another act, like Springsteen, that plays a dynamic set each night. People see 10 or 11 shows by DMB in a tour, and that would be totally worth it. If I liked DMB.

Man, what would be really cool is if a week before a gig you could go online and pick (vote) the setlist. Block the casual fans and you'd get some interesting shows. Yeah, yeah...dream on, I know.

But see, Journey are mega talented. They could do a sign request I believe. Maybe the problem is Arnel doesn't know the old material? He would have to pick the songs IMO.

Nah, just put a teleprompter, ala karaoke in front of Arnel and he'd pick it right off. karaoke is really big overseas and many of them would put the casual karaoke singers here to shame. I was there at some clubs in 1991 and I was amazed. I was really kidding about putting such a screen in front of Arnel. Can you imagine how much shit they would catch if they pulled a stunt like that?
