Yeah, by all means, plenty of room. Right now we have 6.. 8 would be perfect so with your addition we are one step closer to the minimum of what we need. Prog wanted to draft Saturday Night at 9:00 since that seems reasonable for everybody involved.

As far as stinking at FF, hey, you never know! Breakout players, busts, and gems are all over the place if done right.. but I'd stay away from just drafting mainly your team although I think Rodgers is a nice valuable pickup in this draft and I believe if healthy he will bring nice fantasy numbers, but lets save it for Saturday! 8)

GREAT...

I couldn't set the draft time for 9 PM EST, sadly, so I have it currently set for 8:30 PM EST on Saturday.

That cool for everyone?

Hopefully nobody ditches this at the last second and doesn't show. 9:00 be there or be square.

Another thing, are we all playing for money like Dean said? If so, how can the money be handled and secure just in case someone doesn't want to pay up at the end of the season?

Overall, I think this was a success, and think head to head match ups are going to be interesting when looking at people's rosters. I am sick to my stomach I accidentally selected Michael Crabtree with my last bench/flex player when I wanted to take my last and backup kicker for my roster. I'm going to have to drop him and pick best available off waivers. Upset with that, but overall, I think my team looks solid, as does others.

Everyone, post your starters here to compare.

My Starters:

QB: Peyton Manning/Dolts- One of the best overall fantasy players of all time. Should have another big year putting up the dough.

RB DeAngello Williams/Panthers- Carolina's running game is monsterous upon dangerous and Williams is a star in the making.

RB Clinton Portis/Redskins- The Veteran was an MVP candidate not too long ago and the leading NFL rusher until injury. He should get nice chunks, esp. since Washington doesn't have a worthy QB.

WR Roddy White/Falcons- Matt Ryan's go to guy. Had over 1,000 yards recieving, and is in a class of his own. Should produce mad numbers on his way to another Pro Bowl.

WR T.J Houshmendodiaieon/Seahags- Was braught in to move the chains, and produce in the Redzone, and with Hasselback back, he'll find him worthy. Housh was the best receiver on Cinci and is way
underrated.

WR Chad dont't call me Ochocinco Johnson/Bungles- I believe this will be a re-emergence year for him, esp after a season of humble last year. A healthy Palmer, and Chad being the #1 guy with something to prove, could be a big time sleeper with numbers.

TE Jason Witten/Cryboys- Was stoked to land him. He was on my fantasy the last few years, and he proved to be one of the few to carry my team. Romo's butt-boy, and with Owens gone, Wiitten will be primed to be the best receiver in Dallas when it's all said and done, if not, already.

Defense- Philedelphia- Prog snagged Pittsburgh at the right time as I was going to make my very next pick when he took them off the board. Philly plays a style to that of Pittsburgh that puts pressure on an offense and esp the Quarterback, but not as near talented as Pittsburgh. Should get me above average points. I'm happy with Philly's D.

Kicker: Jeff Reed/Pittsburgh: The man is money and is one of the better kickers in the league. Should make his first Pro-Bowl that he beyond deserves.

Flex/Bench: QB Eli Manning/Giants (Didn't plan on taking both Manning's at Q!) TE Jeremy Shockey/'Aints (sleeper, Bree's should get him the ball and make him a QB's best friend) RB Derrick Ward/Bucs (who I think could shine in Tampa and K Neil Rackers/Cards. Backup Defense: Tampa Bay, who should scratch their way to be dominant again. Michael Crabtree Will be dropped asap.

Going into the draft, the top two players I really wanted to land was Andre Johnson of Houston, Witten who I got, and Pittsburgh's D. Overlooking my team, I think I have a solid and reliable team. What about you guys? LETS GET IT ON!

Solid team dude. In my opinion, Manning is no longer a top 3 QB, but still VERY consistent! I think Roddy White is on the rise and on his way to becoming a top NFL receiver. Also, he has a VERY good QB throwing him the ball. I wouldn't be stunned to see Matt Ryan finish as a top 5 QB this season, which is pretty much unheard of for a second year QB! Chad Johnson sucks and has sucked for MANY years. The only thing he has ever done is run his mouth. If you look at his career numbers, he's about the third best receiver on most NFL teams, and that's just nowhere near good enough for a guy for flaps his gums that much. Your only hope would be if it's a contract year for him (which it might be). If he's playing for a paycheck next season, he actually may be forced to earn some money. Otherwise, the guy is a complete fraud! I'm not sold on DeAngelo after only one good season, but he could certainly be a guy on the rise. Portis is another year older and ALWAYS hurt, so he doesn't excite me either. I'm not a fan of any leagues that require a Tight End, becuase there aren't 5 teams in the NFL who even throw to their tight end! That said, you landed a solid one! Good luck.

Best player in the NFL, period, end of story. He's also easily the best fantasy player, and will probably have more than twice the number of points as Adrian Peterson puts up, even though Peterson was the number one pick in every league on the planet! If Brady stays healthy, he will be a runaway MVP winner. You heard it here first. He's better than Brees, He's better than Manning, and he'll win another championship if the Patriots find any semblance of a defense (which is still VERY much in question)!

AlteredDNA wrote:RB - Matt Forte

Could be a pretty good year for Forte. I think that even with Cutler in place, the Bears pretty much have ZERO receivers. It's a bad sign when your best receiver is your starting cornerback! This could bode well for Forte owners.

AlteredDNA wrote:RB - Chris Johnson

Good player but splitting time with LenDale White greatly diminishes his value, in my opinion. Dude is fast as hell, so he should break off some big runs.

AlteredDNA wrote:WR - Calvin Johnson

Calvin Johnson is a STUD, on a VERY bad team. That said, he'll have no choice but to produce, because the Lions will be losing every game by three touchdowns by the time halftime rolls around. That means they'll have no choice but to throw the ball to Johnson to play catchup!

AlteredDNA wrote:WR - Wes Welker

One of the best and most underrated players in the NFL. I don't love him as a fantasy player, because he's a slot receiver. Slot receivers are great between the twenty yard lines, but almost never get into the end zone. I believe Welker only scored about 3 touchdowns last season, and I don't see him scoring more than 5 this season, as Brady throws to the outside guys when looking for the end zone.

AlteredDNA wrote:WR - Roy Williams

Complete stiff of a player. He's sure to get more looks with Owens gone, because Tony the Homo has to throw the ball to someone! Williams has never shown me anything other than the fact that he's another first round bust, drafted by the woeful Lions!

AlteredDNA wrote:TE - Greg Olsen

As I stated previously, I LOATHE the tight end position in fantasy leagues, and won't even join a league that mandates a tight end. That said, you got one of the 3 or 4 good ones, so it should pay off!

AlteredDNA wrote:K - Nate Kaeding

There is only one rule for drafting kickers in a fantasy league...Get a guy on a team that scores a fuckload of points. If said kicker plays in a dome or a warm weather city, even better. I would say you did VERY well with your choice of a kicker. Only Gostkowski or Carney would have been better.

AlteredDNA wrote:DEF - Miami

Don't love Miami's defense, but with Taylor returning, that unit could be reinvigorated.

Decent bench. I don't like Lynch, at all. McFadden is still an unknown commodity. Ward is a middle of the road receiver, but Ben loves him so he'll get you a few touchdowns. Jackson could have a very good year, and Lance Moore could be a wildcard with Marques Colston seemingly always getting hurt.

Best team I've seen so far. Moss is going to have more TD's than ANY receiver in the NFL this season! I love Marion Barber. Pierre Thomas is a good guy to have, because Reggie Bush is GUARANTEED to get hurt! Driver is a stud and Shiancoe was good last year with no QB. Pittsburgh always has the best defense in the NFL. I don't really understand the point of having three QB's but Brees is as good of a QB as there is in the NFL!

I have 3 QBs because when I drafted Cutler I didn't look at the bye week. He has the same bye week as Brees. Delhomme was an emergency pick, like I said, and I'm shopping Cutler right now.

Didn't you hear? Bree's lacks the ability to play Quarterback in the NFL and is WAAAAAAAY too small to play the position!

I like this team as well. Bree's is an absolute stud and will be on a mission to put up huge numbers with a talented team to be poised to show last year was a fluke. NO will be a playoff team this year in a helluva division. Barber is one of my favorite backs in the NFL. Love his work ethic. Will be a force near the goaline. You're WR'S show no mercy. Helluva 3 punch combination. We all know what Randy Moss brings to the table and we all know he has a Hall of Fame Quarterback throwing to him, even though I think Brady will get beat up this year. Lee Evans is a beast and is underrated at his postion, and will be overlooked from the emergence of T.O across from him. Question is, will T.O hurt his production in the offense. Pittsburgh's D is going to get you mad points, as they will show no mercy. They will be a better unit than they showed last year, and that's scary. Great Bench players as well. On paper, I think Prog has the team to beat, but with the NFL, you never know week in or week out what you're going to get. Everyone has solid teams. Can't wait.
