Dear ChildInTime: For me it goes beyond what Portland mentioned in my quote above b/c I would have no right to judge in reference to the band’s prime since I, myself, was not born until 1978 which means I didn't appreciate the band until Raised On Radio & beyond. For me the “creeped out” factor has to do with you being a minor versus being an adult. I'm pretty liberal regarding anything after the age of 18. Anything before that age & my "dad" personae takes over turning me into Ward Cleaver. I'm old fashioned when it comes to children & at 16 you're still a child.

This site is designed to be about music but as anyone here can attest to, it goes beyond its intended scope. There are at times profanity as well as photographs & conversations of a sexual nature that a child should not be exposed to--- some of which I am guilty of myself. I enjoyed CIC's reviews very much--it looks like you put some thought into them; you love Neal and appreciate his abilities; you're unbiased--yup, I thorougly enjoyed reading them. Refreshing really. The more you listen to this music, the more hooked you are going to be. My favorite "album" is a live bootleg of a concert they did at Comiskey Park and if my son were here, I would get him to upload them. It would be interesting to see what you thought of this version... I bet there are others on here who have this bootleg and know how to do it if you are interested...
