Why treat life as a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving in an attractive & well-preserved body? Get there by skidding in sideways, a glass of wine in one hand, chocolate in the other, body totally worn out, screaming WOOHOO! What a ride!

The guy isn't some random clueless person. He has a rock and roll show, an Indiecast for which I subscribe, just like Stuck in the 80s, or other podcast type services that I have an interest in.
When someone on twitter that I follow posts something it shows up on my account. I didn't comb the internet looking for it as you often like to promote here at MR. Granted I reposted the photographs because I thought others here would like to see SP out and about looking good, as that makes many of his fans happy. However, I didn't post the flight number for obvious reasons and I won't post any more pics either as I said previously.

If Perry didn't want pictures taken, he wouldn't go out. Trust me when I say that the loons are off squeeing in a corner somewhere, about everything you posted. They've invaded his privacy in a real way. They just have to pretend and get all holier-than-thou about your post. It diverts the focus away from them.

Not all of us are off screaming in some corner everytime an updated picture of Steve shows up. There are alot of us who do respect Steve and his wishes to go about life doing what he wants to do. While I do look at the pictures when someone posts them. I do not download them to my computer at all. Are there some who do go over the edge? Sure, but don't lump all of us in one group.

While I agree that aspect ratio issues are eyesores, it might not have been Ftloperry's doing. Anyway here's the clear version.

Well, rare OLD pix...

Postby MBPL » Wed Sep 09, 2009 12:59 pm

All right, well my Pix suck, sorry.

I went with college friends to the Nov 1, 1981 San Francisco Cow Palace show (Nov or Dec I forgot) - okay, truth be told I was slightly excited to see Loverboy as opening act singing, "Everybodys, workin' for the weekend...!"

I was disappointed, I mean I was too far away and too much of a scared pussy to maneuver my way past the drunken, doped up screaming like banshees fans. I was also mad that I could not hear Perry sing, left halfway through Journey's set.

Nice to hear you respect the legend for his music. 8)

Not lumping anybody into anything. Not to worry. "They" know who "they" are.

D'awwwwwww! it looks like a hug to me! Now, who he is hugging, or why, I have no idea.

....Then again, maybe that's booze in his cup, and he's so wasted that when he was talking to that dude he fell over and landed on him, and somebody thought it was funny and LOOKED like a hug, so they took a picture!
